The place is under construction, so hopefully improvements are to come. It's a sketchy location, people were very clearly high (on the good stuff) in the lobby. I felt pretty unsafe during my stay. The types of people staying there made me uncomfortable, they seemed homeless and groups of people were outside smoking in the lot. The lot in the back is scary, but I wanted my car in sight from my window. I will say it was VERY well lit and that helped me feel better. It wasn't very clean and it felt like this place was doing its best to cut corners and buy used when they could to save a penny. Holes in blankets, raggedy ripped towels, no soap in the shower, etc. The fridge was shut off so it smelled really bad and I didn't want to put my food in it. Overall, I survived the night and nothing bad happened to me or those traveling with me - so perhaps some of it was just anxiety. I've traveled for work for many years and have stayed at so many hotels/motels and it's rare that I find myself considering leaving and eating the cost of the room. Safety is my top priority and cleanliness would be second. I didn't feel safe or clean in that hotel. I will not be staying at this location again, but I do see the construction and hope this helps to gain improvements. I hate to see a place expanding when their current guests aren't being taken care of properly. I also need to say I called the front desk to switch rooms immediately after check-in (because my room was in a creepy hallway being renovated and it was super loud and not relaxing at all) and the woman at the desk was quick to find us a new room that met our needs. The staff was pleasant and didn't give me any issues for my request. I've never switched rooms before so I was not looking forward to the process- but it was easy enough. I appreciated the great staff at the very least. I gave three stars because while there are clear improvements needed- I got through the night safe and had a pleasant interaction with staff during my stay.

The primary reason for the rating is due to having a mouse in our room. After looking at TripAdvisor reviews, it appears there was an issue last month as well. We had booked 2 nights here, but only stayed one as we encountered the mouse on the evening of the second night. Staff were understanding and explained that due to having an open field nearby and cooler temperatures, mice can be a problem. They offered an alternative room, however we declined and were refunded for our second night as we chose to leave. Hopefully, they will look into options to prevent this as it ruined our stay. Other things to note, The lobby of the hotel is nice and updated, but the rest of the hotel, including rooms were a bit dated compared to the lobby. Our room had significant water damage in the bathroom on the door and door frame (see picture). The bathrooms are a bit cramped compared to others we have stayed at. The TV was also disappointing as there was not an option to connect to stream. Our first night, the hot tub was not available due to another guest drinking and breaking a glass in the hot tub. Staff did a great job at getting the hot tub drained, cleaned and ready to go for the next day. Overall, all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. This is a pet friendly hotel, so we did experience some dogs in nearby rooms barking. Breakfast was mostly good, the eggs were a bit off. Pricing for our stay was competitive for the area. Note to travelers. Construction in the area does make access to the hotel confusing initially. If you are looking for shopping and things to do, there are not a lot of options in the immediate area and do require a short drive. Old Town Fort Collins and Loveland are both nearby and offer great options if you are looking for something more walkable.

I would give zero stars if I could. We stayed in room 260 on August 2-Aug 6 and found bed bugs in our room. We took multiple pictures and videos as proof and immediately brought the issue to the front desk. The staff initially agreed to refund our stay due to the health and safety concern. They said they could not offer us a new room due to being at full capacity and would only refund us partial credit for the days we have left. We asked for a full refund because we had to find a new hotel, take all our clothes to a local laundromat, and clean out our rental vehicle to ensure we would not carry out any of the bed bugs to the rest of the public. However, after the refund appeared in my bank account, the hotel reversed it without any notice or explanation. This feels deceptive and unprofessional. Bed bugs are a serious problem that should never be taken lightly, and guests deserve transparency and honesty when issues arise. I am now forced to dispute the charge with my bank, which is an unnecessary stress and inconvenience on top of dealing with the original problem. Travelers, please be aware and check your room thoroughly before settling in. I hope management takes responsibility and ensures this does not happen to anyone else. Here is one of the bugs we caught and gave to the front desk.

We stayed here January 26th because we were in the area for a concert. Everything seemed fine at this establishment for the most part. The sink didn't drain in my room, and the vanity looked like it had a bite taken out of it and then was colored over with a magic marker. That night we ate on our way to the concert and didn't bring any food back to our room. In the night we were awoken by a drunk lady screaming bloody murder in the hallway and it seemed that there were maintenance guys cleaning vomit off the carpet in several spots when we woke up. It smelled disgusting walking down to have breakfast... The next morning we ate breakfast down in the lobby area. It was mediocre. A few days later we received an extra $75 charge for cleaning our room. They claimed we threw food at the wall so there was extra cleaning. No food was taken to our room, so I don't see how that could have happened. This is extra irritating since we've called to speak with a manager about this situation and they continually tell us they're out sick. We've reported this to the better business bureau since we're continually getting the run around when contacting this establishment. I would recommend paying for your room with a credit card that makes it easy for you to dispute charges since the false cleaning charge was as much as the room itself. Not a great experience. Would not recommend this establishment.

*The response from the management seems to have been written by AI, or someone who has made zero effort to address any of these issues. It's like they didn't even read my review. The establishment was disgusting and you charged me for a non-existant mess that cost as much as the room itself. A terrible business that has no intention of fixing any of the issues addressed. Your business ethics are awful. Your ratings are clearly being...
