Venture Inn — Hotel in Four Corners States

It was disgusting there are holes all over in the wall there were were stains coming down the wall there were what looked to be drug baggies everywhere on the corners of the floor in the bathroom there was what appeared to be black mold on the curtains and the ceiling the sink was stopped up and leaking on the floor the bed was all stained up and probably not even Changed by the look of it the curtains were taped together with all sorts of different cheap tape because they had holes in them this place was nasty I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy if I had one. I'm allergic to mold I've been severely coughing since I left I have thrush now because of the mold I suffer from severe heart issues and I am probably going to have my friend take me to the hospital due to this since I just checked out I went to the office and brought of the issues with them and they basically told me to screw myself they didn't care so I left there on the phone calling code the health department anyone I could. As I was leaving I was informed that the owner was pulling up who then when I approached him lied to me and immediately rolled up his window and took off if that wasn't that the owner he's a coward he couldn't even take the time to talk to me the made immediately rushed to the room and tried to start cleaning it I have pictures of this and due to the way I was treated I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that this is either taking care of or this place is shut down because nobody should have to stay in something...

The horribly angry and mean old lady behind the desk and very rude and unprofessional makes this place totally out of my options to go!!!! Unbelievable how much of a disgruntled employee that hates everyone that tries to rent a room and when you do she yells at you about certain rules that are printed on paper she gives you at check in, and comes and beats on your door telling me i need to pay a 30.00 late fee for being 45 minutes late paying when she was late opening office but is going to gouge me !!! Then after 45 mins. She pounds on door again and says leave when my man was back from walk to cash check at same time she came to harass me once again!! Then she calls cops while clearly she saw us moving all our stuff into parking lot in front of office......cops were shaking heads n truly don't want to deal with her either!!! Worst motel experience, and attempted rip off gouging , and Harrassment by old angry mean Karen in my 55 yrs on this planet!!! Never rent there it is...

Same as other reviews, No toilet paper, towels, soap. Smoke alarm hanging from ceiling, duct tape holding up bathroom fan, duct tape holding drywall from falling above bathtub,door jamb broke no striker plate (not safe!). After turning on heater it smelled like it was going to catch fire, so I turned it off, bummer because its winter and the room was cold. The light, (1-bulb) in the bathroom was multi colored (orange blue and red), and the other end of the receptacle was what was once a light bulb (glass bulb gone) the filament remaining /exposed live wires above the bathroom sink. Will someone die of Fire, Electrocution, Mold, or break in’s before the health department or fire department condemns this rat hole?????? The management was rude at best, would not issue a refund, would not listen, turned and just walked away. Obviously this must happen on a daily basis judging by their behavior. I will be disputing the charges with my cc company and reporting to BBB and all...
