A House of Pots — Local services in Four Corners States

I recently saw an IG ad for their November 'liquidation sale' and decided to check this place out. It's cool and all; tons of plants and pots with great selections, but I couldn't help feeling like I got ripped off. I believe Ian was his name, who checked me out. I came to him with my items, where he listed some prices after some quick math to himself, and came up with $60 for all that is pictured here. I was caught off guard.. as I was expecting a much lower price for a sale.. But I paid up, and left with these items feeling a little used. But perhaps I am wrong.. If someone could enlighten me as to if this pricing was legitimate or not, that would be helpful! The black saucers came with the black pots(4" and 5.5"), I got some smaller saucers(right) and an appx 8" cacti. He was quick, so I didn't catch the pricing of each item, but all this for $60 seemed like much. He gave me a free tiny pot(3.5", not pictured) at the end after the transaction, which made me feel like he felt bad he knew the pricing was a little high, like he knew what he was doing. But again, perhaps I am all wrong.. Please...

I wish ✨I✨ was more mentally prepared for the absolute JUNGLE Ian maintains in this literal house.

Was not aware I would be trekking through the AMAZON RAINFOREST this afternoon on a trip to pick up pots.

I stand on it- 1,000x greater experience than Meow Wolf, Museum of Illusions, whatever Dome experience is happening in Denver, or any other immersive experience this state has to offer.

Not only are all of Ian’s plants SO HAPPY, they are so healthy. You can see the absolute dedication Ian has for each little friend inside his house.

I’ll literally never go anywhere else for anything plant related ever again. Genuinely. Nowhere else can compete.

The absolute lore behind Ian has to be insurmountable, as well. He’s so genuine, kind, extraordinarily hard working, and casually hilarious.

I’m shook after my first visit here.

What an amazing unique place!! The owner of the shop is wonderfully nice and very knowledgeable. This is not your corporate fancy plant shop, but it is your local brick home that sits at the corner of a neighborhood and filled to the brim wirh plants and pots. Is every plant perfect, no, but neither is the big box store that you'd pay more for. By talking to the shop owner, this is a one man show. For one person running this plant shop, and for the number of plants there are....the plants are great and very much thriving. The selection is wonderful as long as you're not interested in exotic plants or Bonsai. The shop is definitely worth checking out. Shop and support your local business. Ian, it was great meeting you today. The two Succulents I purchased will be a great addition to my small collection 😀 It was great talking to you about the three Ps....Plants, Pots...
