Mi Gusto Es 2 — Restaurant in Colorado

The food is NOT good. This place presents itself as a Mexican seafood restaurant, yet the only seafood on the menu is tilapia and shrimp. Kind of gross. We used to come here to eat two or three times a month when it was los amigos, And it was really good. The food was always fresh and the service was always good. I was highly disappointed by this food. The mojarra (frozen perch) had absolutely zero taste. Granted it is perch, which is not a very tasty fish to begin with, but this thing tasted old. The chips were slightly chewy, and you could tell most all of the ingredients were from a can or a jar. What was really offputting was at every meal came with a side of frozen processed french fries for filler. Come on. Nasty. There were six of us, and nobody in our party, really liked the food. We definitely will not be back here as the food quality is abysmal. On a good note, the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The ambience makes you feel like it is some great, Mexican seafood restaurant. That is definitely not the case. If you are looking for Mexican seafood, you probably should...

Prompt service. I used to be a regular here when it was called Tia Maria’s, it’s still owned by the same family, so I expected the food to be good. I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I’d say under the new ownership this restaurant is going places!! Very respectful staff and good food. They just need more people to come in and try the great food ! I had the carne asada fries. They were more than good, they were the best carne asada fries I’ve had ever. The steak was tender and juicy, the green Chile full of flavor and hot, but not too hot. I was given some chips and salsa during my wait, and they were excellent as well. All home style and cooked to perfection. A staff member named Blas helped me. He was very very kind and also gave me a couple of coupons! I’ll definitely be giving these to my pals and letting them know about the awesome experience I had here. I’m sure I’ll be back time...

I love this place, I come here from time to time already 2 years. The food is great reasonable prise. I believe Cydney was my server. Great service really. Very pleasant, well mannered and greatly educated Lady. I just wanted to take the time to write her a review, for her excellent service, excellent English language skills, polite, kind and friendly!!! Welcoming and pleasant!!! Great addition to this restaurant!!! I will like to add that they clean up and tide the place and it's looking very nice and pleasent. The food is always great, served warm and with smile.. They did a new beautiful menus, I added the picture below!!! I recommend and definitely will go again...
