I must say, I was very hungry and at a friend's house watching football. I had mentioned to him that I was going to Denny's. He Immediately said, forget Denny's and told me about Great Scott's. I had never eaten there and honestly hadn't even heard about the place. So I heeded his suggestion and went there. I'm so glad I did. The food was outstanding and the portions were large. As I'm a large man with a huge appetite, this was perfect. I had breakfast, it came with "mini" pancakes... LOL the pancakes were big! I like my eggs over medium which are fairly hard to get right. Their cook was a master egg cooker. My eggs were perfect. I can't remember my servers name but she was outstanding as well. Checking on me at appropriate intervals while not hovering. As it was later in the evening, I wanted dessert to take home and I'm a chocoholic. I ordered the chocolate cake and a chocolate malt. The cake was like everything else, absolutely outstanding and of course the malt was the piece de resistance of malts. I can't say enough about my experience at great Scott's, and I highly recommend that everyone visit this gem of a eatery. I guarantee that it will not disappoint. One more thing, when I got the check, I thought the server had made a mistake and I asked about it. The amount of food, including the desserts, that I received were unbelievably inexpensive. I was shocked. I will be going back there, often. Y'all should too! Thank you...
Read moreNow I'm normally not one to write reviews. But I feel like should be touched up on. To start off our sodas came out flat we asked for different ones I understand things happen we ordered and wait was okay but our food was basically cold on the outside. Well we finished eating and the waitress gave us our check well the manager I guess came up to us and in a rude manner asked us to pay so she could get her waitress out as she's underage. Would have been fine had she not been so rude about it. Now I understand they are going threw a loss. That's understandable and my heart goes out to you all. However you guys need to get a grip on your feelings. I may not know this person you lost. But at the end of the day just be glad to have the cherished memories you have with that person. As we were leaving because we were tired of waiting we went to go pay at the front the treated us as if we weren't going to pay. I don't know if it's because we weren't dressed nice or because we asked for different sodas. All I can say is I hope you guys find piece I was really looking forward to that place and now I don't think all ever...
Read moreI've been so disappointed with Denver cuisine that I just figured mediocrity was just a Denver way of life when it came to food. Luckily, this place was highly recommended by a non Denver native, so that lead me here and I'm so glad I took their word for it. The 1950's nostalgia theme is quirky and fun. Listening to oldies while sitting on car themed booth. Fun! The service was prompt and friendly and... well, the food was delicious.
Yummy in my tummy!! You have to try the HANG 10. It's a delicious fusion of American and Asian or Hawaiian that make the most tasty and wonderful burger in Denver!!. This medium rare burger includes cream cheese, pineapple (get out of here if you're against pineapple on other foods) a savory, spicy, sweet and sour sauce, bacon and your regular favorite toppings like romaine lettuce, red onion, tomatoes and dill pickles on a soft bun lightly toasted with butter and a side of the perfect crisp fries. Did I mention never ending drink refills? Yes, there are other options on the menu which I'll try later, but for now... this is the way to go.
Needless to say, I was...
