The property is right next to Disney. The facilities had little visible wear and tear and the houses were spacious. I cannot comment on the amenities because everything was closed due to COVID during our stay. We stayed in December 2020. Our issues: 1. The first house seemed clean initially, but we discovered used soap in the shower, a necklace on the nightstand, toenail clipping in the rug (gross) and a dead and dried-up lizard (see photo) in a bedroom floor. The second house was cleaner, but we found crumbs and food debris on the carpet in the bedrooms. 2. When we woke up on our first day we were freezing. It turns out the furnace was broken and we had to move to a different house. The first 2nd house was actually occupied by another guest, so they moved us to another house. On our last night at this house we woke up cold (again). I reported it to the office, but don't know what the issue was. Despite these issues, we received no apology, no call from a manager, nor any refund. There are way too many properties in the area to deal with this issues on vacation.

We stayed in unit 3050 (3bdrm unit). I’ve provided pics of every kitchen drawer and cabinet so prospective visitors can see EXACTLY what is and is not included. You’ll definitely want to do some shopping if you’re staying more than a couple of days. Other reviewers were correct about the single roll of paper towels in the kitchen and single roll of toilet paper/bathroom. Also very limited bath and hand towels and hangers (total of 12 hangers between the 3 bedrooms). We called the front desk about having absolutely no towels in one of the bedrooms. After a reminder call two hours later a young man showed up with an armful of towels (including washcloths). I think the employees are trying and it was very nice to have so much space and be so close to the parks but I have to deduct a star for the “minimalist” state of all supplies and having absolutely no drawers in any of the bedrooms. That being said, we would definitely stay here again and simply be better prepared now that we know what to expect.

I booked a room at Magic Village Yards, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, through Getaroom.com, and what I experienced was highly deceptive marketing. The room was advertised for just $59.21 per night, which seemed like a great deal. However, when I proceeded to check out, I was shocked to see a staggering "Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees" of $394.70, making the total amount $453.91 for a one-night stay! I did not finalize the booking after seeing this hidden and outrageous fee, but to my surprise, I still received a confirmation email as if I had gone through with the transaction. This is highly misleading and feels like a tactic to trick customers into paying much more than they initially anticipated. I would not recommend booking through this platform, as it lacks transparency and clearly engages in deceptive pricing practices.

BEWARE: HORRIBLE customer service, UNSAFE, and UNRELIABLE. Management doesn’t handle customer’s concerns. I spoke with a manager who calls herself “G.” We stayed from May 1st until today (May 8th) at Magic Village Views and there was problem after problem each day. Oscar (in the picture )was THE ONLY helpful person there. He deserves to be the manager.

Issues with the villa: We found a bug in our bed UPON entering the house the FIRST day! It was around 10pm when we arrived and were super exhausted. Then, they offered to change the bedding but they sent the maintenance guy (Fernando) and he refused to do it. He literally handed over the bag of sheets. It was left up to me and then in the middle of doing so, there was a HEAVILY urine stained mattress pad underneath the fitted sheet. In between the two flat sheets was a soiled comforter. We NEVER got to utilize this master bedroom with a beautiful view because it was never cleaned. There were stains on the headboard as well.

The only time they listened to my complaints was when I physically walked into the lobby and was there in their faces (Oscar was who I encountered). It’s like pulling teeth with them. Not many of them seem to want to do any work there. The manager “G” offered to have someone come in and clean the room again but told me we had to be gone out in over 90 degree weather while I have asthmatic children with me. I declined since they couldn’t get it right the first time. The house should have been thoroughly cleaned prior to us getting there and I felt like she was just going to send those same people to do a mediocre job. There were stains on the couches and carpet. I mentioned it to the maintenance guy who responded with “It’s ok.” He shrugged it off and proceeded to leave. I told him no it’s not. Not with us paying $2000 for this place.

I also found a dead cockroach In the laundry room as well ants covering the floor at the entrance. This went on for TWO days after several complaints. The lock on back door would not work even after maintenance came to fix it. It appears to have been popped open. Things were disturbed in our room after we went to the parks and we came back to evidence that someone was in there.

In a nutshell, we paid for a 4 bedroom villa and only was able to utilize 3 of the smaller rooms because they wouldn’t provide us with the proper things necessary for the bedroom. This resort is UNSAFE and I got NO rest while here. I have a toddler who could easily get out the back door and get access to the hot tub. Not to mention that while we were in the villa, these men (workers) felt comfortable coming into the back unannounced and drained the hot tub without letting us know. We had no privacy and I feel completely violated. I tried to overlook a few of the issues but it became too much. It’s a beautiful resort that won’t last long if they don’t get better management in there. I will NEVER go back to this place.

Other issues: Heavily stained towels that didn’t even look like they had been washed. Unsafe Vacuum in the room. I had to request a new one since I didn’t want have a safety hazard to deal with. I read they will keep your deposit for anything they can find. If you choose to stay here, make sure you stay on top of them fixing issues. There’s SO much more to add but I have wasted so much of my time and energy on this. I am extremely upset since this was our first family...

Coming to the end of our holiday at Magic Villa Views. Sadly our experience has been a disappointing one at this resort. There is no vibe within the resort at all. It's unnervingly quiet and appears that very few staff, apart from reception, speak English. We had a few issues with the villa, most of which could of been resolved if there was an information welcome pack explaining how things work like, trash waste, ovens, washing machine, jacuzzi etc. Every time we have had an issue we had to call reception, which made us feel like an inconvenience. Staff came failry promptly to the villa but unfortunately for us could not speak English so we found the process very difficult. What we have really disliked is that we were expecting a fully stocked kitchen so that we could prepare family meals during our 12 night stay but apart from plates, cups and glasses, all we have is a couple of pots and pans, we had to ask for more utensils as all we had was a whisk and the world's smallest chopping board and a fish slice. They brought us a wooden spoon and another tiny board. We had planned to make a Christmas lunch American style, but this was not possible. Bearing in mind this is a deluxe 3 bedroom villa. We also had air conditioning/heating issues on out first 2 days, the maintenence team who again could not speak English could only understand the word off. So they disconnected the heating meaning we have spent the whole holiday with no heating or aircon to use. Before we arrived we upgraded to include a jacuzzi, thinking this would be an extra luxury over the holiday. Sadly, the jacuzzi was small and the jets were poor it's been barely worth using. There are buttons to turn the jets up but these don't appear to work and with no user guide, it was impossible to know. We made a call to reception to request some support. The maintenance team came out and turned the temp up, jamming something under the lid of the hot tub but no explanation was given or advice for future use. We came back to the villa later today and the hot tub was still cold. This time an english speaking manager came out first time and he showed the maintenence man what he should of done. He also agreed that a instruction manual would help. The lady on reception has said that they will take the hot tub off our account so we won't be charged. The decor in the villa is quite tired with lots of obvious poor repair jobs, such as paint touch ups, filler here and there and holes in the fly screen. The website looks great but in reality quite disappointing. The gardens on the main areas look nice but as you move further into the complex they appear bare and less cared for. Sadly, to the disappointment of out two children the shared pool area is not very welcoming and user friendly. All in all due to the high cost of this stay we don't feel it has been...

We booked our stay here through "Welfare Vacation Homes." I recommend booking through another company if you want to stay here. Sadly, we were not told the truth when we booked this property! Originally, we were so excited to come stay here with our family and my parents! We planned a week at Disneyworld and Universal Studios and booked this apartment especially because it had a private hot tub, which we knew we would be using every night after walking miles around the parks. We also loved the location. We communicated with Vitor Deobber before & through-out our entire stay and had to remind him to send us our check in information, which I found surprising. The apartment was very nice and clean. There was no extra toilet paper or any other amenities really, which we thought was a little odd. There was also no book or anything with "check-out" information on it, which most places have and had us confused on what we should do when we were leaving. The most frustrating part, was that the hot tub was not working from day 1, even though we were told it would be and paid extra for it! No matter what we did, it would not heat up to a usable temperature! Vitor had 3 men come try and fix it on 3 different days, which was very kind of him, and after each man came, they claimed they had fixed it, yet it would never get past 75 degrees! It was luke warm and not usable, which was pretty disappointing. Vitor said one of his employees came and turned it up to 90 degrees on the 4th day after we had been there, yet when we got home it was again back down to 24 Celsius/75 degrees again, like usual. By this point I asked for a discount or refund of some kind, because we had specifically booked this place for the hot tub and were really sad we couldn't use it and it was advertised as being in working condition. I was told we could not get a discount. I was then Ghosted for the next couple of days of our stay, when I reached out about other things. It was very unprofessional to say the least! We also had issues with the the bathtub, which would only dispense scalding water and didn't have a working temperature gauge, and our shower being clogged to the point of flooding when you took a 5 min shower! They did fix our shower, which was nice, and said they fixed the bathtub, but it never got fixed. Overall, we loved the location, but will not be staying here again through this company. I would recommend if you would like to stay at this location, to go through another company to book it and not Welfare...
