El Cafetal in Kissimmee offers a genuinely delightful experience, particularly when considering the caliber of their food and the attentiveness of their team. From the moment you approach the counter, there's a sense of care that translates directly into the quality of their offerings.
The food menu presents well-prepared dishes, but where El Cafetal truly shines, in my opinion, is their bakery selection. The items on display are consistently fresh and incredibly tempting. You can tell that these treats are baked with a real dedication to quality. The aroma alone is enough to draw you in, and the taste consistently delivers on that promise of freshness.
While everything in the bakery case looks fantastic, I have to specifically highlight their carrot cake. It is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite. The cake itself is consistently moist and perfectly spiced, with just the right amount of sweetness. The texture is spot on, and the cream cheese frosting is rich and creamy without being overly heavy. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite, from the finely grated carrots to the subtle hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. It's the kind of carrot cake that leaves you completely satisfied and craving another slice.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service at El Cafetal is also noteworthy. The staff members are consistently friendly and efficient, even with the counter-service model. They are knowledgeable about their offerings, readily answer questions, and handle orders with a smile. There's a genuine warmth and helpfulness that enhances the overall experience.
If you're in the Kissimmee area and looking for delicious food, especially if you have a sweet tooth, El Cafetal is a must-visit. And if you happen to love carrot cake as much as I do, prepare to be impressed. The quality and freshness of their baked goods, particularly that standout carrot cake, combined with their friendly service, make it a place I...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience. This place looks really nice and plenty of seating. The staff are nice. The pastries look delicious. The coffee was really good and strong. Here is where the problem begins. We were clueless of where to place the order. We looked for signs that said line starts here but nothing. There were customers all over so it was kind of hard to figure out where the line begins. We asked a staff, who walked away. Later on I realized most of the staff don't speak English. So I assume she just had no clue what we had asked. Finally we figured out were we place our order. Where I places an order for scrambled eggs. I'm told I can have scrambled eggs with that order it could only be fried. I don't understand why I can't choose how I want my eggs cooked. She tells me I had to choose a different menu it in order to get the eggs scrambled. I also order 2 orders of hash brown. We sat and waited for our breakfast to be prepared. My hash brown comes out first. We told them we want our breakfast to come out all together. We finally got our breakfast. Let me start with the hash brown where triangle shaped that comes from the freezer aisle at a grocery store. I looked at my hash brown they looked as if it came straight out of the fridge on to my plate. I put my finger on it and it was still cold. I was so upset I requested a refund for the the breakfast that I could not eat. Maybe this was just an oops but I feel they need to work more on organizing and properly cooking the breakfast. If it wasn't for those two main things they could have gotten a 5 star review. Like I said the bakery are looked amazing and the...
Read moreComiendo at 4.4 ⭐️ This place is a goldmine and they know it. Well situated on Rt 192 where there's no Puerto Rican bakery around; this place is busy. We went around 9:30am and waited in line to place our order. They do have ordering tablets for convenience but because it was our first time, we waited to place our order at the counter. Now, the sandwiches were good and stuffed - average size. The coffee was great and the natural orange juice was great as well - it should be. We got some pastries to go which were good as well. The pan sobao left alot to be desired, even dropping the expectation bar because you're not going to get Lemy pan sobao like in Levitown, PR. I mentioned they know they have a goldmine because they are somewhat overpriced in comparison with what you get. Overall it's the convenience factor that they are close if you're on Rt. 192 but they have the potential...
