Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Four Corners

As a server I am annoyed of how things were handled today. It was my first time visiting Perkins restaurant and was extremely excited to try it out as there were many good reviews and everyone knows how much I love a homemade feel of a meal, but did i ever realize it was a huge mistake. While patiently waiting for our breakfast I thought I might as well sign up for the free dessert for my visit. I received the coupon immediately and thought I was gonna be able to claim my delicious treat. I approached the counter as I was having issues with the website and it was showing I had to order the cake online so instead I went up to the bakery counter and inquired myself just to ask if i need to order through the app or i could just show my coupon once i’m ready for dessert at the end of my visit. The lady with dark hair and glasses immediately was rude, she was i’m impatient and cranky, you can tell she didn’t want to work today. She handled everything very rudely, she kept trying to not give me the free slice in the first place until someone else got involved. Once she found out I was right, she got furious and started saying ‘’welp can’t do anything for you regardless anyways till you got a cheque!???’’ in a very mean tone. I simply left to go back to my table and told her that’s alright since I was only asking about it and was planning on getting as dessert after my meal. She comes over to my table and proceeds to talk to me negatively, bashing me, she never apologized or owned up to her being mean towards me, made everything sound my fault. They 1st sat us by the kitchen door when there was many tables by the windows & center of the restaurant. So I asked to be moved... I ordered my food & I wanted 2 sausage patties instead of the 2 sausage links & to put my muffin in a box becuz I wasn't gonna eat it now he said okay. I got my plate w/ 1 sausage patty & sure enough my muffin was on it & hot too. I addressed my issues he kept explaining (as my food is getting cold) the 2 sausage links subs for 1 sausage patty. Had he told me that when he took my order I would've just ordered a 2nd patty but he didn't give me that option. The server had too much to say we kept going back an FORTH, like He HAD to have the last word. I had to ask again for a box, the man comes back with a bag & walked off... We call him back I asked for a box he gonna tell me the bags are for the muffins. So again I asked for a box he comes back with my box and a sausage patty in it. Hi hope I have the right Perkins we were in Orlando on business stayed across the street at red lion heard of Perkins but first time eating there the breakfast burgers were good to perfection from the temperature of the burger to the over easy egg on top Our waitress was Crystal I believe the managers name was Tyler if I'm wrong I'm sorry they and the the cook were the only ones working yet it did not affect there service kindness professioalism you would have never known it was just the three of them they were friendly kind and very attentive I was so surprised on how good the food was good bye Denny's lol anyway headed back to fort Lauderdale hope theres one there best hash browns ever!! We were there on june 16th 2023 please Perkins Corp recognize the quality staff you had there that night we do !!!! Anyway great food will be back next time were in town .FYI the chocolate silk pie no words just yum thanks again its hard to find good food and service its either one or the other...
