Rodeway Inn Kissimmee Maingate West — Hotel in Four Corners

Kississmee through Choice hotels stated they provide free drop off and pick ups to Disney Parks.

My son and I were dropped off at Epcot Disney World park and was told by the driver who is the manager as well that he will pick us up at 10:30p.m from the same location.

My son then decided to go to Animal Kingdom park so at 11:53a.m I called the hotel and informed that to pick us up from Animal Kingdom. Then I called again at 8:21a.m to confirm the time and I was been told same time 10:30p.m. I was been told that message has been delivered to the manager.

Then at 10:35p.m, no one showed up so I called the hotel and was been told ride should be arriving shortly. (Note: I was been told the ride should be arriving shortly)

Then at 10:50p.m, when I called this time I was been told no one is coming we should had been at Epcot park. No one had emailed, called or texted to inform us that no one was coming. I told the hotel staff to inform the manager to call me.

When I arrived at the hotel, I was been told voice message had been sent to the manager, he will call back whenever he gets a chance and his coming today at 11a.m. The front desk person did agree this is very unprofessional especially from a manager and at that time there were couple of other people there as well who heard this.

Front desk staff allowed me to use the phone to order pizza. Since it was taking so long, I decided to drop my bags and my son at the room, come downstairs and then order the pizza. The front desk person with the beard was organizing the chairs in the breakfast room when I told him I will be coming back, he ignored me. I was waiting for him to say something. As he was walking out of breakfast room then he said, he heard me.

Even my son saw he was upset and ignored me. My parents are thinking of coming to Florida next month and I was thinking of recommending them to this hotel, now I'm having double thoughts.

When we came back by Lyft my son was starving and I ended up taking my meds late which made me feel dizzy and my nose was bleeding for a long time.

Also I would like to inform few other things: When I called the hotel I was been told "The ride is arriving shortly". If he wasn't sure, he shouldn't have assumed it and give me wrong information. I see and smell guests smoke wit here Swimming pool ladder is not safe here This hotel does not provide pad/paper Phone wasn't working here since first day

Next day I met one of the staff member, I think his the maintenance person. He told me he will pass my message to the manager, but still no one has contacted me to apologize to me.

On the first day they charged me $6/night cleaning fee when they only clean rooms every other day.

Fantastic for Disney!|I’ve been to Disney a few times and this hotel is super close and has all the amenities for a great Disney trip!||Rooms- clean, new towels each day, shampoo and soap. It’s a very affordable base for Disney. Previous reviews allude to cleanliness, take some wet wipes if you feel this may be an issue. I clean my airplane seat tray so issues here.||The bathroom is an all in one component so no mouldy sealant lines. Much much better than the washing facilities at Disney swimming- Lagoon.||Large vanity sink in main room allows you to brush your teeth whilst the other is showering.||Microwave and fridge included- great for late night snacks and keeping refreshments cold. Vending machine onsite, reasonably priced ie quarter of the price of Disney snacks.||Breakfast|Tea, coffee, juice drinks, porridge, bananas, make your own hot waffles- 2 grill pans, syrup for waffles, selection of different breads, toaster, jam, butter, doughnuts. So enough for a good start to the day. Foods replenished by hotel staff every 10 minutes. Food needs to be eaten in the breakfast room. ||Transport- free parking on site and Complimentary (FREE) shuttle to Disney 7.30am for Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. 8.10am for Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Make sure you book and save a space on the shuttle. Saves $30+ per day for Disney parking. Return shuttles depends on when the parks closes. So the shuttle driver is very accommodating. If you need to come back earlier, this can be arranged for additional fee (under $20).||When it’s late at night and other Disney guests are trying to flag a taxi/Lyft. The hotel shuttle driver is very punctual so it’s reassuring to be greeted by a friendly face.||Laundry facilities onsite so no smelly return laundry||Swimming pool- special seat for lowering less able persons. Clean, no debris.||Very friendly staff, will try their best to accommodate your needs, eg we needed a ground floor room. Also helped arrange return airport transfer- reasonable additional fee ||Close to Perkins, Racetrack, Seven 11, Bob Evans. So a variety of food options. 10 minute walk to Walmart Supercenter- amazing selection of fruit and food!!||Therefore convenient location and close by amenities.
