This is a very nice hard to find kinda kid /pet and family park. They don't make them like this anymore, most parks now a days are strictly 55+. If your a full time rv'er like us with kids you know how hard it is to even find a park that excepts children at all. And usually those parks you don't want to live at. I wouldn't put my kids in 80% of them. But this one is very safe nice and great for kids. It is located perfectly centrally located to everything in central Florida. Disney about 15 min away. So on and so forth.
The sites are nice a little on the smaller side. Average for RV parks in general really. however the sites are beautiful. We have a full brick site with a storage shed and it is gorgeous. Neighbors are respectful and kids will be kids. If you have issues with the kids just talk to the parents they will take care of it. You do hear families being families. But it is keep to a a minimum. Overall, best family RV park I have been to in Florida.
They are currently building a fitness center I sooo can't wait for it to be completed to use it, truly excited. And it has a very nice pool where i do my physical therapy and practice my diving in it, it goes to 8feet deep in a perfect rectangle pattern 8 feet the whole way around, perfect for under water diving practice. I also has a shallow end for the littles.
Staff and management are super nice people. I have no issues at all with any one of them. And the manager here does the very best job accomplishing satisfaction amongst everyone who lives here. If there is an issues and she finds out about it she will do her very best to correct it. Thank you sooo very much for that...
Read moreWe stayed there the week after Easter this year, and it was very quiet. You don't hear a lot of interstate or highway traffic like you do at a lot of campgrounds.
Although we specifically requested a 30amp site, they set us up at a 50amp that can use 30 with an adapter. When we told them we didn't have one, the front desk was pretty rude about it and asked why an RV'er would NOT have a converter instead of apologizing for not giving us the correct amp site. So be sure you clarify that when you book your reservation! We had to hook our camper back up and move sites, which was very inconvenient.
I have to say I was very shocked they did not have cable; I've never heard of a campground that didn't have cable. But if you're there to do the usual Orlando-area attractions, you won't really miss it since you'll be so busy. Just be sure to bring DVD's in case!
They have a HUGE enclosed dog run that is really a dried-up retention pond, but our large dogs LOVED to take off running and burn off the energy in there every day. There is no water fountain or extra poop bags, so bring your own to the park.
The place is NOT well-lit at all, so it's hard to see where you're going after dark and you need a flashlight to walk around. There aren't a ton of trees, so in the summer it's going to be very warm on your site. The price is extremely reasonable, and the lots are not super close together. We'll probably stay there again and just bring our satellite dish next time. It's decent and clean even though they weren't super friendly or helpful and there aren't very...
