Christian, our server, struck the perfect balance of attentive and friendly; he guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, checked in at the right moments, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. I stumbled upon this place late (~10 pm) by accident with my 16 yr. old son and it was a highlight of our week in the area! The staff was friendly and welcoming despite the late hour. Our waitress made us feel right at home. We shared the 'parrillon' (sp?) which was a sampler of grilled food. Each item elicited 'wows' and seemed better than the previous one. Even the slaw was unusual and outstanding, and my cup of coffee was rich and freshly brewed. The portions were large and cost less than your run-of-the-mill burgers. My only regret is that we left Florida the next morning and can't immediately go back to explore the rest of the menu. I am extremely impressed with the service and food that we received at El Toque. Our first time there we had a group of 20 and everyone enjoyed the food and service. I spoke to Cristhian the manager who was our server and was amazing about a family gathering of 40 people for the next day and he accommodated the place for 40 of us. Eduardo was our server the second day and he was extremely kind and patient. There were minimal errors with such a large group and everyone was very happy with their food. Their grilled chicken, tacos and steaks were all very good. They did run out of cachapa and we were bummed about that because it was soo good. I cannot recommend this place enough!
