Let me start by saying. Melissa is the only reason this place is receiving any stars. I have had prior experiences with her and it has always went stellar and amazing. Unfortunately, the 3 that was working today (Melissa was not present) is the reason why it went from 5 stars to 1!! Selma ( apologize if the spelled the name wrong), Danny and Gloria were working today. To make a long story short without dragging it out. Went there today to have certain jewelry cleaned and inspected. Wife was told that her name is needed to be added to account as a secondary so she will be able to pickup the jewelry upon completion. This was news because the jewelry that was being cleaned was bought in 2015 and has been inspected and cleaned 2x a year and she was never told that she had to be a secondary name to pick up jewelry. Not only that. We moved here 2 years ago and for the 2 years has brought the jewelry to this same exact location and was never told that her name was needed to be added. Wife was asked to show her license to prove that it was her when dropping off the jewelry. Why can’t she do same to pick up jewelry??? Anyway. This is not the reason for the bad rating. Of course. The conversation between Selma got quite heated and was referred to acting manager, Danny. While that conversation was going on a gentleman who was there to service the a/c at the store chimed in and starting using vulgar language towards my wife about her behavior. My wife in turn asked who he was and why was he even saying anything?? His response was that he didn’t give a “f…!” But that why wife was acting like a “c…!” ( 4 letter C word) verbally attacking my wife. Of course I now had to intervene and during this time. The 3 employees only said things to my wife and me, telling us to calm down or they will call tue sheriff department. Nothing was said to the gentleman who chimed in and used vulgar language towards my wife. So Kay was willing to tell their customers to back up! Calm down or police will be called but the person who wasn’t even a customer and started the argument was told nothing!!! Then after things settled down. I asked if they can tell me the name of the a/c that was hired so I can make a compliant. Was told they didn’t know the gentleman name or name of the company. So as a business. You let someone come in and repair your a/c but don’t know the guy’s name nor the company he works for?? If it was a privacy law thing then tell me that. Don’t blatantly lie and tell me “I don’t know!” Overall. Today’s experience tells me that they do not care about their customers especially their loyal ones for the jewelry that was being inspected were brought through out the years since from 2015 to now. Sorry Kay. You just lost a loyal customer and corporate will also be aware of what...
Read moreI walked into the store and I was on my phone. When I decided that I was ready, I told the person I was speaking with to hold on, put my phone down and then preceded to get the attention of the male store clerk. He then told me that he would wait until I was done with my call. I explained to him that I was not on my phone and that I had a question. He told me that he was not going to help me yet because he would have questions to ask and I was going to pick up my phone. I had no intentions on getting back on my phone, my purpose of being there was to get a stone replaced in my ring that was purchased from Kay's. I decided that I no longer wanted to deal with him and asked for the number to the corporate office. He then became upset that I wanted to contact corporate to tell how I was treated. Another clerk came up as I was dialing the number to corporate and preceded to ask me a question, stopped herself and said "oh, she's on the phone." Once again I turned to her and informed her that I was NOT on my phone, I was dialing the number to the corporate office. He then asked me to leave the store, but this was only after I asked for the number to the corporate office. The clerk would NOT provide me with his name and was very rude. I am a long time customer and buy ALL of my jewelry from there but I...
Read moreI have been to other Kay Jewelers that have been amazing, yet this one was the opposite. I had a very quick mobile order to pick up and was ignored by every staff member in the facility (quite a few at the time). Everyone else was attended to before me seemingly because I had already spent the money and “wasn’t going to spend anymore.” I didn’t even receive a smile or hello as I walked through the door. When I was finally attended to, the employee who helped me simply wanted to get me out of the store and just walked away after handing me my bag. I stood there for a minute waiting to see if she needed me for anything else to which she walked back and gave me a tight smile and said “is there anything else I can help you with?” As if I was wasting her time entirely. The entire experience rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve worked retail and I understand this time of year can still be rough with the holiday returns although, every customer deserves respect and kindness. I will not waste my time with this location and honestly I will take my business to a different jewelry store or simply stick to placing...
