This place is so disgusting it should be shut down. The manager is a mean nasty man who has no sense of customer service. They don't have a system according to the woman behind the desk so they will only deal with hard copy reservations. If you have an email or a confirmation number it is not good enough. You have to call the website you booked through and have them FAX the confirmation before they will even consider helping you. ||I am criticizing myself for not reading the reviews before booking this reservation but in my defense we were on the road for 12 hours and it had been pouring rain the last four. I figured we just needed a bed to rest and then drive more the next day. Well...that was a huge mistake. The rooms were disgusting! There was a large dead cock roach looking bug in the middle of the room, the bedspread had burn holes in it which matched the burn holes in the sheets. the bathroom was just grudgy looking and probably dirty but we didn't touch anything to find out. The carpet was crunchy it was so old and dirty! I had to put my socks on each time I got up to walk across the room. We went to call the front desk to ask about WIFI but the phone didn't work. As if this wasn't bad enough, at 2:00am I was awoken from a deep sleep to hear and see the door opening and catching on the bolt thingy. I ran across the room and banged the door shut. There was a man outside who had been assigned to my room and the front desk clerk had programmed the key so he would have been in my room had I not latched the lock. The next morning I went to complain and the same jerky manager from the night before told me there was no way that happened and that I should have come to the office when it happened. My elderly parents checked in & then went to find food when they returned & were getting there stuff out of the van a man walks up & begged for a dollar then when they got in the room it was filthy & disgusting the sheets were dirty as well as the half sized towel. The phone didn't work & the phone number was not on the receipt so I looked up the number & made a conference call with my parenrs. My mother asked if they can come to the room so she can show them the problems the rude woman said you've been in the room an hour & they only refund money within 15 minutes but they weren't even in the room because they went to get dinner. Then I spoke & told her that my parents are elderly & it was dangerous there she said we took care of that guy begging but how could they take care of him & they didn't know anything until we told her rite then plus he lives there. We were coming south on 95, needed to get sleep after a days worth of driving. Pulled into the parking lot at night. Night person said pet friendly, so we stayed one night. Late December and cold in the area. Room next to ours were shirtless, and selling like a drive in pharmacy. Daytime it was quiet. Manager said he use to run banquet halls and apologized for the awful coffee in the lobby.
