I went to your establishment on 8/8/2024. I am not one to complain, but this one is getting it. I have been to many DQ in my time. We were driving thru and wanted to stop for a quick bite to eat. We ordered 6 plain cheeseburgers and 1 small fry. We sat at the window and waited for over 30 min with absolutely no interaction from the staff, no updates, nothing. She took my money at the very beginning (otherwise I would have driven off) I had to stop a lady and ask for an update, and she just walked off without saying anything to me. Then I waited for another girl (the one who took our order) and she was obviously annoyed with me, telling me this is not fast food and how there were like 15 people in the lobby ahead of me and how I need to be patient. Well at this point my husband has had it, he goes inside to request a refund. The girl is annoyed and telling him they are not a fast food restaurant, and how we need to be patient. Then your cook comes out, what a treat he is!! And he wants to argue about how he has 3/6 burgers done and how wasteful we are being. Then throws the food in the trash while throwing his little temper tantrum. You had 1 employee that came out to apologize, that's it. The car behind us in the drive thru (who also had ordered) left.... so I hope the owner is reading this. You need new employees, or a better manager. Your employees argued with customers and personally told us to never come back, and reading some of these other...
Read moreIf I could give it 0 stars I would....rude rude and rude. I called at 920 was told they close at 10. Showed at 938, wad then told they that the ice cream machine was broken but that didn'tmatter because the kitchen was closed anyways. I said I don't want ice cream only a burger and I called before I came to see what time you close. Then he argued that I didn't call the garibaldi location...even tho I called from the motel less than a block away. Then came out to my vehicle in the drive-thru to continue to argue with me that I did not call this location. Mind you, I believe the next closest location to garibaldi is in Astoria. People in line in Front of me said they had been sitting waiting 45 minutes. I'm pretty sure at this point they are going to spit in my food because the kid arguing with me out side is now standing by the drive-thru menu turning everyone away and its not 10 yet....the kid at the window was super sweet and you could tell he was having a rough day. He was so kind. I tipped the window kid just because you could tell he was doing the best he could. Only 2 people there to run the place? The owners should be ashamed. If the customer service is consistently this terrible and only 2 people there? Be a lot smarter to close until the staffing issues have been addressed. Very...
Read moreThis manager was so INCREDIBLY RUDE. Sierra gave us our order with a terrible attitude from the start, even shouting to get our attention to hand us things while we were clearly moving something from the cup holder to make room. She gave us ice cream that was melting everywhere with NO NAPKINS or silverware then slammed the window shut. We waited for five minutes, honked twice, no one came. Finally, Sierra returns, at this point icecream is all over us and the car and is held out the window melting all over my boyfriends hands. She asks if we need anything. My boyfriend says “Uh, could I get some napkins? That would be great.” She responds “yeah, here you are, isn’t that great.” And slams the window shut again. We waited to ask to speak to a manager. She tells us she is the manager. My boyfriend said “that was really rude and unnecessary.” She said “yeah, well you guys have a great night.” He asks her “did I do something to upset you?” She laughed, said “have a great night” and slammed the window closed.
You will never see our family back here on our multiple times a year drive to see family again. Dairy Queen has always had a reputation for poor quality employees, but this one really has hit the bottom...
