The Grand Orchard Lodge — Hotel in Gatlinburg

Family booked this home last January for the first week of Nov 2023. 3 days prior to arrival, got a call that they had changed management companies a few months ago and that prior management didn't give reservations to new management in time, therefore the new management booked our week. Keep in mind, we booked January of 2023. The only thing they offered was a different week, same rates. My family requested their vacation days since January. It's now the end of the year, there's no way to get new ones, all days had been booked. I guess we'll count ourselves lucky, as other families arrived with no where to stay and only got an apology. New Year, let's try again, requested booking and find out prices increased, the old total was $14000 and the new total is $20,000 😢😢Same cabin. I reminded them of the horrible experience from last year and all they would say is I'm sorry. Disgusted by the entire experience. My family booked this same cabin for the past 3 years. I only joined the last year and will never use them. So much for customer service, sloppy...

Beautiful 20 bedroom home used for a family reunion. Plenty of room for 46 people. Great location, walkable to the main street in Gatlinburg. Note: dining room table/chairs only seat 32 at one time. There were about 10-12 additional bar stools for kids. House was very clean. A bit of wear and tear starting to show on the stone wall in the basement, and on the couches in the living room.
