I cannot say enough good things about how much I enjoyed my time here. Every single person was AMAZING. It’s rare nowadays to find a crew of people that you can tell like their job by how they act and present themselves. My wife and I played 5 games there and got to meet all the wonderful people that worked that day from 2pm-8pm (Saturday 7/16/25 afternoon and Sunday afternoon/evening 7/17/25-for reference to the owner so hopefully you give them some acknowledgment). They ended our night surprising us with this HAND DRAWN card, “Super Fans” lanyards and other ridiculously cool gifts. They had it laid out for us in the last room of the last game we were playing, so when we entered the room it surprised us. Just the well thought out and heartfelt gesture was completely above and beyond anything we expected. They didn’t have to do that. In fact if they didn’t we would’ve never known the difference. For that fact, it just shows how much they care. To anyone thinking about doing this: DO IT! To everyone we met today: This was the first time in 4 years my wife and I were able to take a trip by ourselves. You guys alone made this trip worthwhile. We felt seen, cared for and never just a customer. Thank you for the endless support and patience with all of our need for clues… what seemed like every 3-10 minutes 😂. Everyone on this card and those that might have left before we finished our last game, thank you truly. My hope is that every Escape Game location has people just like you all, but those will be very big shoes to fill. To the owner: Every one of your people at this Gatlinburg location needs flowers, cards, acknowledgement, promotions and pay raises immediately. ASAP. You had an eye for talent when you found these people. We thank you. We love you. Awesome cannot even begin to describe you each and every one of you. Hopefully next time we have an opportunity to get away we see you again. The only thing I regret is that this review only allows us to rate 5 stars because this deserves WAY more stars than just 5.

Me and my wife went up to gatlinburg for our joint bach/bachelorette party and we decided to go to a escape room for the first time we decided to try an easy level for our first and it was amazing the story the way the have clues setup and how much detail went it to all the rooms and before we went in curtis came down and introduced himself to us as our “game manager” i think is the term but he was very friendly and made the experience better than we could expect and once we completed the first room we decided to do the hardest room they have and once again curtis was our manager he made jokes with us and his commentary made us die laughing and once we completed it he came in congratulated us for beating it with 12minutes to spare and the whole party agreed this guy needs a raise or his own store so if your gonna stop by this place please speak to him hes amazing either talk to phil or curtis they are both amazing guys Staff 10/10 Theme 10/10 Difficulty 9/10 Price 8/10 Definitely gonna recommend this place to everyone

My husband and I have done a lot--a LOT--of escape rooms, and this still stands out as one of the best we've ever done. We started with The Heist and were so impressed we went on to play 4 other games: Prison Break, Special Ops (our personal favourite), The Depths, and Timeliner. All were fantastic in their puzzles, and the theming and immersive quality in the rooms is second to none. At the Gatlinburg location, the staff were also top notch: friendly and incredibly kind; the game masters had a great balance of offering good clues to nudge us to the right answers without giving everything away. The price at $39.99 a person is also quite reasonable for such high quality rooms, and at our location there were discounts offered if one wanted to play another room that day or the next day, making it a further steal. Private experiences aren't guaranteed, but by booking early (before 11:30 AM) or late (past 9:30 PM or so) we were able to play all 5 rooms with just the two of us. Highly, highly recommend!

I work at an escape room in Maryland and love checking out other rooms. I loved the experience playing here! We played the Heist. Our gamemaster was Jo and they were absolutely lovely. Very kind and energetic. Overall just gave off such a kind energy of someone to be around! I didn’t read the website fully first which meant I didn’t know it was an experience you may play with other people. Otherwise you need to book all (I think eight) time slots for your party. That’s on me though, I didn’t read. I’m glad I took the risk to. I might not have come here if I knew it wasn’t just my friend and I. But I ended up loving the experience and am glad I tried playing with other people. It’s a different sort of game experience but I’m glad I took the time to get to. My friend and I still had a lovely time. I love that they design the rooms using a variety of puzzles. They force you think think outside the box how to solve things rather than some rooms which make an incredibly linear “this to this to this” approach. The puzzles are well thought out. They are difficult without being confusing to the point of frustrating. I think playing with strangers lends itself to the experience sometimes being a luck of the draw if you have good teammates. We were fortunate to. The one thing I would have liked to see was group consensus before asking for a hint. If one person presses the button we got a hint - rather than I have played before where folks need to agree before the gamemaster gives one. I liked it because it forced us to communicate better. Because we came in not knowing one another, it feels easier for another group doing their own thing to make the executive call to. Our group did play well together otherwise though. There was enough variety going on in the room that we could work together on some things yet we could also discover things on our own. It never felt like one person domineered the puzzles in that way. There was enough variety in how to solve puzzles and the kind of puzzles that it took us all doing different things to have a coherent overall picture of what to do. It was well designed for people to come Together to solve. Would definitely recommend anyone...

Our experience at The Escape Game Gatlinburg was an absolute blast! My husband and I decided to try our hand at a room called "Special Ops: Mysterious Market," and we were so impressed with the entire experience. From the moment we entered, we were immersed in the theming—it was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into creating a truly engaging atmosphere. The puzzles were challenging but incredibly fun, and we felt like we were part of an exciting mission the whole time.

The room itself was designed so well, with intricate details that made it feel like we were really in a mysterious market. We managed to successfully complete the game, which was a huge win for us! The satisfaction of cracking the code and escaping was definitely worth the effort.

We were even tempted to go back for a second game while still in Gatlinburg, but unfortunately, time wasn’t on our side. We left with a sense of accomplishment and a desire to return for more adventures. The Escape Game Gatlinburg is a fantastic way to spend an hour, and we look forward to doing it again when we’re back in the area! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive and...
