My mother and I decided to go to lunch on a whim. We made a reservation online for about an hour later at Smokey Mountain Brewery. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Joseph the manager. Joseph was friendly and helped us right away. We were sat at our table within a few minutes of arrival. Our waitress Kayla, was very personable, had a sweet disposition, prompt with greeting us and taking our order. I watched as the manager helped his servers place food at tables and was busy filling in every place he could. This is something you don't see very often. I admire managers who will step in, help out and ensure smooth delivery of service, instead of just watching and giving orders to staff. I appreciate the managerial staff that lead by example. It creates a teamwork inspired environment. Kudos to the manager at Smokey Mountain Brewery. The food was delicious. My mom recommended this place and she frequents this restaurant often, as she is a local. It did not disappoint. We both ordered the fish and chips, which were very good. The fish was fried to perfection. The fries were standard fries like most places. My mom said the pizza is also very good and usually what she orders when she eats here. The inside was very nice, clean and unique. Most people eat upstairs. The bar is also upstairs. The kitchen and micro brewery is located on the first floor. Sadly, I did not try the beer, as I was not drinking during this particular meal. However, I've also heard very good things about the quality of the beer at the brewery. I think the prices were very fair, service was great, and the atmosphere was fun. I recommend trying this place. They offer trivia night which my mom ensures is a fun time to eat. They also host local musicians and offer fun lively entertainment. If I could offer a couple ideas that may improve the experience...I would suggest that you change the french fries. They are just regular, standard fries that you can get anywhere. I think offering unique French fries, especially with the fish and chips would increase the uniqueness of your restaurant. Also, I suggest getting a BIG TV for game night and host Football/Basketball/UFC/Baseball/Soccer/Hockey/Olympics etc. parties. This seems like the perfect place to go watch a game, have a few beers and have trivia night.

Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg They were very busy when we arrived on a Thursday night but super friendly 💯 This was the perfect brewery to stop at for dinner and a local beer on day one of our Tennessee adventure 🙌 Oana was absolutely amazing! She took very good care of us during our experience here. Please management give her a round of applause because she is part of the reason we will be returning. We started with: Black Bear Ale- English style brown ale with a deep, chestnut color. Low hopping rate and lightly carbonated. Rich malty-sweet finish with a touch of roastiness ❤️ & Brewery Nachos- tortilla chips, Brewhouse Chili, beer cheese and jalapeño peppers ($11) as our app ❤️ For dinner: My husband got the Kick-Back Burger with fresh broccoli covered in beer cheese- smoked cheddar and jack cheese, bacon, jalapeños and spicy Kick-Back Sauce ($12.75) ❤️ & I got the Philly Cheesesteak with fries- green peppers and onions ($12.50) ❤️ To go we got a growler of the beer listed above ($16) ❤️ Over all the experience was very laid back and enjoyable 🥰 The food and beer were all amazing and it will definitely be a stop on our next trip to Gatlinburg, TN. If you park in the parking area with Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg in it, when you leave if you provide a receipt parking is free 💯 Thank you to the cooks and our Wonderful waitress for an amazing time. (Sorry for no pictures of the food. We forgot lol)

BEYOND DISAPPOINTING compared to all the great reviews. The food was great, especially the potato skins but the service was DEPLORABLE!. We were here for 2 hours & 45 of that was spent eating and the rest of the time was waiting for service, mind you there was MAYBE 10ppl in the entire restaurant, including those at the bar & we had a reservation, we were sat right away, well we actually were handed menus and told to pick between 2 spots, so the extra hour 15 was literally waiting on service while being at a table. Our waiter checked on us MAYBE once, NEVER refilled our drinks, it took 20 mim after we finished eating for him to ask if we needed a box, took another 15 to bring the box, then another 10 to ask if we were ready for the check(as if asking for & boxing our remaining food wasn't a clue) then another 10 to actually bring the check but of course he was back within less than 5min to collect the card machine & check his tip which was responded to with a nasty parting as i assume he wasn't happy with the 10% when he honestly didn't deserve more than 5%. On top of that, the FIRST thing i asked the hostess upon being seated was how to do the parking, she instructed me to fill out the app as normal, card info and all and then when we were finished to go downstairs to validate and get the code to discount… well this was completely wrong, after waiting another 10 min downstairs, come to find out the QR code discount was at the back of the restaurant the whole time & was suppose to be done BEFORE finishing the app, so even though i was well within the time limit i was charged the $16 & when i said something i was told they cant do anything- i understand its not their company but i should have been discounted the $16 from my bill since it was THERE employee whom instructed wrong. These codes should be at every table. All in all, while the food was good, we wont be returning on future trips due to service. Save your time & spend the $100 elsewhere...

We did not have a good experience at this place. We ordered a beer flight. All the samples were room temperature warm. As for the actual beer, none of the ten were to our taste but that's a subjective matter. Even if they had been a little up our alley, the temp would have ruined them for us. Must be the first time we order a beer sampler and leave most of it unconsumed. We ordered 2 burgers and had to wait for over an hour. Google live said the place was busier than usual. We were given no warning by our waitress that it would be a long wait, nor did she bring amuse bouches or even bread to mitigate the wait. She was nice and stopped several times to ask if we were doing ok other than the food not being ready. Otherwise she seemed completely uninterested in turning the table or earning tip points with us. As somebody who has worked in the food industry, I know it is not only feasible but a proven good policy to warn your customers of unusual wait times, and to make up for it when something does not go as planned. This was not the case with us. We will certainly avoid this place like the plague in the future and will not recommend to anyone but a select few enemies. The food itself was exactly what we expected from an unpretentious and affordable brewery food menu. Inasmuch as it met the low bar of our expectations it was not disappointing.

2024 Update: We have not been back to this place and life has been good. 2025 Update: We have still not gone back to this place and not a single day passes by with us missing it or wishing we...
