Definitely not worth the money. So excited to “ghost hunt” with some of the equipment provided on Halloween night. Showed up at 8:30 as instructed to give our names, check in, and stand around. At 9:10 we finally started the “tour”. We walked a small 2 block area listening to a few good ghost stories , but most were recent occurrences and pictures from an iPad probably found on google. A lot of the talk was of the damaging fires in 2016 (unsure how this was related to hauntings or scary in any way). The equipment was given out. We were given a BRIEF explanation of what each item was used for . No explanation of how equipment can be off, due to all of the EMFs transmitting from downtown businesses and hotels. I felt like we walked around for 2 hours, chatting amongst ourselves, carrying useless tools. After each story we had 5 minutes to walk the area using our EMF detectors, and be back for the next tale. The most disappointing for me was the lack of historically proven info. There were a few good stories about the cemetery. We were told if you take pictures you could maybe catch a full body apparition, then you do not even get to tour the cemetery , or even walk by. I’d say 20 minutes of “ghost hunting” and 1 hour plus of campfire stories. By the time we made it to the second block, and our tour guide began the 3rd story about the same landmark, we decided to get a head start to the car! Nice , friendly people ! Just not what it’s...

I booked a haunt for our family and they called to cancel bc something came up for the guide. I get it I am an understanding person and I work in a hospital trust me I get how quick things can happen. The guy asked if we wanted to reschedule and I said we can't bc it's our last night so he said he would refund our money. Everything seemed fine but then he made a rude comment about we shouldn't have waited til our last night to book. Then when I got upset he hung up on me. Very rude especially when I was fine with everything until his rude comment. Not a good business person

As a response to your comments below. You are very wrong and I can prove it. I have an app on my phone that records all my conversations and I was completely understanding and nice until your rude comment. Your comment was not as nice as you are making it sound. You very clearly on the recording say "well maybe you shouldn't have waited until your last night and this wouldn't have happened." I am so sorry it was raining all week when we were there and choose that night to go. I also clearly stated above you did refund me I was not complaining about that at all. I did not appreciate your comment and you hanging up on me. Which you can also clearly hear on my recording. I don't understand why you are trying to make me out to be a person looking to complain if you wouldn't have been rude I would have never put a...

So a honest review of this tour finally. I took my 2 kids 6yrs, and 8 yrs old. And they absolutely loved it, right off the bat they got to hold there own ghost hunting tools, in which Michelle our tour guide informed them how they work, and what they do. Michelle was very nice but seemed to right off the bat sort of start defending herself (maybe pre defending herself due to the bad reviews they already had) The tour consists of walking to several sites that seem a little lack luster, but Michelle filled us with knowledge of the area and its importance, and showed us pictures of random items, and former tour pics to enhance the story. Which really had the children's attention. The kids got to explore the outside of a few buildings with the tools, and we even saw a bear. And it really was a pleasant way to spend two hours. Now that being said THIS ISN'T GHOST ADVENTURES, your not going into buildings, or cemeteries (little disappointed on that one) and your not guaranteed to see a ghost. And the tour guides are human and can have off days. Although I would recommend to the tour managers to maybe reconsider getting at least the tour to see the cemetery, I have no complaints. All in all this isn't for every body, and I do feel like things could be improved with the tour. But I feel like I got my money out of it. Thank you for a...

Phenomenal guys our tour for two nights our guide was Leon, he is a super guy that gave a realistic expectation for the experience on both accounts. The first tour my wife and I were a part of was the shorter history based tour (our only complaint was the large number of people[30+] in our our tour group). They had a music box, ovilus boxes, and EMF readers that were available for the group to use. The second night we booked after finding out Leon was doing the extended tour and there is a participant cap of 8 people. This was by far a much better experiance, they had all the same equipment as above as well as an sls camera and spirit box. The SLS picked up quite a bit while I was using it at several locations(including a graveyard). Over all this was a fun experience and would reccomend the extended tour to anyone that is serious about the paranormal investigation side. That being said we had fun on the historic tour as well.

Leon was an amazing guide! We took the extended tour. We knew from the start it would be an amazing and impressionable experience! The church presented several spirits, good and evil, which we caught with the equipment. There was no debunking. The graveyard introduced us to several entities. Young children who danced and played shy at times. The woman who stood in the white dress. At times we felt welcomed but also knew when it was time to move on. The spirits were clear with their expressions. There were a few moments that caught us in such close proximity with an entity we had to exit quickly. Leon made this experience one that will sit in our memories for a lifetime!

Kathy was an amazing tour guide for the paranormal and history behind the town. We used real equipment and were able to get some good readings. For anyone who says it wasn’t a paranormal tour they must not have got the same tour we did. Everyone in the group was engaged and some who didn’t seem too interested to begin with ended up being super invested by the end. I recommend this for anyone who likes ghosts or paranormal type things. This is the best tour in Gatlinburg. It is NOT a tourist trap like most things are around Gatlinburg.
