This Glo Best Western nightmare flashback returned as I plan our next trip and no one deserves to be treated like the people ratings in the last month. Once arriving in the area, the Glo BW was a regret after seeing the selection in the area due to poor parking and then there was CHECK IN. I paid for early check in, but the female clerk decided to argue with me and she could tell I was obviously EXHAUSTED, but she continued to antagonize me and mess with my head. She was enjoying harassing me. It became painfully obvious. This woman was the kind of person that IS NEVER WRONG AND SHE LIKES TO BE RUDE. Once she conceded about paying for early check in, she put me in a horrible room. It was hot, bed was a pit, the tv malfunctioned and the bath door mirror had the greasy imprint of a greasy body that had been pushed into the night before. As I turned around to exit, the entry door had goo around the door handle that had never been cleaned. The room lacked cleanliness and was disgusting. I immediately called corporate (told corporate everything) as I knew, the clerk was NOT GOING TO HELP. As I left the room, preparing to leave the hotel for good, the clerk met me in the hall; completely different attitude. CORPORATE HAD DEFINITLY GIVEN HER A LESSON. She had keys to new rooms and we found a suitable room so I could rest. However, she had messed with me soooo much, I couldn’t relax. I took a shower only to find the entire bathroom had flooded during my shower. I was SOOOOO done and couldn’t wait to leave this place. I also took pictures of this nightmare. This experience has really ruined my perception of Best Western. The BBB has this hotel rated “F”. There are many other selections in the area. Don’t be lured by the lipstick covering this structure or the BW name. UPDATE MANAGER RESPONSE Dear D P, We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I do not show any record of you reporting any of your issues to the staff during your stay. We would have attended to the problem then and there. In future it is best to bring any issues to a staff member's attention while they can be corrected. Sending a survey after the fact did not solve your issues. MANAGER, IDENTIFY YOURSELF. You have no record of my complaints as you refused to take them. You are NEVER around when anyone asks for the owner or manager. And why would I wish to be berated by your desk clerk? I immediately called BW Corporate. BBB rates you with an F as you have a history of not responding to complaints. Only recently do your responses take slight accountability for your treatment of customers. My first job was with Best Western in 1987 as a desk clerk and you are a failure for customer service. You apparently do not read reviews or listen to corporate. BW Customer Service Ticket CR983303 was created the day I stayed at your hotel AND YOU NEVER MADE ANY CONTACT WITH ME. STOP PROVIDING FALSE INTERPRETATIONS OF REALITY.

My stay at Glo began negatively because the room my family was assigned to was not cleaned properly before we checked in. Soon after going to the room on the 4th floor after check-in, I told the front desk rep that I found blood on the bathroom walls. I cleaned the walls and tissue holder with soap and a washcloth and showed the front desk person. He seemed like he was going to help by contacting management to see if my room could be switched quickly and anything else could be done. I checked in with the rep multiple times that night and he said he was texting and calling a female manager and the owner, Mike but never gave me a new room or rectified the situation because he said he was not authorized to do so. At the end of the night, 9:30pm, after asking about my room again he said I should speak to Mike, the owner, when he arrives in the morning. Mike was at a movie with his family and could not address the bodily fluid found in my room. In addition, the bathroom floor was covered with a previous guests hair (I cleaned this up also for my children to be able to shower in a clean space). The shower also had the same type of long stringy brunette hair at arrival. Things happen, I understand, but there was zero urgency in getting me a clean room or having someone come up and clean it again. The front desk reps seemed to not really care beyond telling me words that sounded pleasant without any action. I was not expecting a free stay or a major discount, I just wanted another room and some effort from the front desk rep (beyond words) and the unavailability of someone on site that could help with this major issue of blood in a new guests room. Very disappointing! I had a good workout in the gym, but everything I saw needs to be cleaned better or at least daily wiped down. The breakfast attendant was very kind and attentive to assist with anything needed to be refilled or if guests had questions. She did a wonderful job on Monday morning. This was my second stay because the first stay last month was pleasant. I will never plan to stay in a hotel in that area or at the Glo Best Western again.

I stayed here 11 days for work, and I really only have minor issues, but overall, my stay was great. The location is good, but the traffic in that area between 4:30pm and 6:30pm is horrible. Plenty of places to grab dinner, and a few gas stations in the immediate area. The hotel itself: Very modern, clean, and the staff super friendly. The room is a good size, and the bathroom is ginormous. The only issue with the bathroom is that you better have a towel on the floor when you step out of that shower, because the floor is slicker than owl s**t. I almost fell twice which would have messed me up. Housekeeping was prompt and did their job when I wanted the room cleaned. I was on the 4th floor, so it was quiet for the vast majority of my stay. Now....my only issue and I found out that it shouldn't even be an issue is that they do not have laundry facilities on site. When I asked what floor the washer and dryer were on I was told the second floor. After walking up and down on the second floor and not finding the laundry room, I inquired again and was told that they don't have laundry facilities. Not sure what happened but clearly there was a miscommunication. When I checked out, the lady asked how my visit was and I mentioned the lack of laundry facility available and she told me that I could have used the facilities next door at their sister hotel. Nice to know this, so I just wanted to pass this tid bit of information on to the next person. Overall, I enjoyed staying here and recommended this hotel to other coworkers. Hoping to stay again in the near future.

This was my 2nd time staying at this particular hotel, and just like the first time there were major issues. Me and my mother stopped on 02/05 for the night. The clerk was very nice and helpful, I was given a great rate on the room and I was told there would be a $150 hold fee that would be returned to me at check out, which never happened! I called approx. 6weeks later as i was checking my bank statements and I noticed not only was there no fee returned, however my bank informed me there was not a hold placed on the account, that I was actually charged the $150. I contacted the hotel and I was told the manager Tammy had already left for the day (this was at 4:30pm) and I would need to call her the next day after 9:30am. I called the very next day and the clerk who answered the phone quickly told me that the fee is always returned at check- out and i would need to speak to my bank. I quickly called my bank again and was told that the amount was a separate charge to my account not a hold fee. I then called the hotel again and this time I asked to speak to the manager. The call was transferred to Tammy G who stated she was the general manager. She begin to look up my information and informed me that the note she saw in the computer stated "there was smoke in the room" and this is why the fee was charged. This is out right a disgusting lie! me nor my 70 year old mother smokes! Then Tammy begin to rush me off the phone stating "mam your stay was in February, what took you so long to call". I didn't realize there was a statue of limitation on me checking on my money! she quickly rushed me off the phone stating she would have to check on this issue and she would get back in contact with me. After speaking with her I contacted customer relations, which is a complete joke of a service they are not able to really help with any issues since each location is privately managed. He took my statement and informed the hotel had 2-3 business days to contact me. I noticed while reading other reviews this exact same type of fraud has happened to other guest that have stayed here. Long story short don't be fooled by the bright lights of the hotel, save yourself countless phone calls with rude individuals that represent this establishment and just stay somewhere else! I decided to end all of this back and forth and I issued a dispute of the charges with my bank However please believe that I will continue to have this matter investigated until someone is able to figure out why so many people are getting fraudulent charges...

Hotel looked great until we walked in and front desk gal was the worst. She treated us as if we were interupting her. She was so condecending all through out conversation. Forced me to leave a hold on CC for $150 for incidentals to which she later said it would be returned in 3 days. Once in room it smelled horribly, Like a hospital. I went down stairs to ask if we could get another room and she went off on me asking of I used the toilet. She continued to say she would need to come up to see room and I said " Sure, Ill go with you" . She refused to go up to room and told me to go back to room and tgat she would call me. I returned to room n sat in chair making sure not to disturb the sheets on bed so she wouldn't tell me she couldn't change room. I waited about 10 min and smell I. Room was making ill so I went back down to see why she hadn't called me. Once there she claimed she called my cell and it went straight to voice mail. I checked my cell and it had no missed calls. I asked her to please call me again to make sure call went through but as she knew I caught her in a lie she refused to call my cell. On top of that in a very condicenting tone she said she found no reason to give me another room. I expressed to her that the smell was making me I'll and her response was for me to leave or stay in room. As she k ows the room cost is non refundable and she had my $150 hostage she didn't care. I touched it out n spent the night, I barely slept. I almost called an ambulance because the smell was making me sick. Early next morn I couldn't wait to leave. I made sure I only used 2 towels, slept in the bed and left nothing else touch. I'm afraid she will find an excuse to retain my $150 claiming I damaged something or that the smell in room was caused by me. I will never go back to any GLO hotel. Staff has no customer service at all. It's unfortunate to have to deal with people like her, I hope managment addresses this and I get my $150 back.

I've noticed on all the answers to review the same thing is said over n over. I really do hope the customer service is addressed and I don't get the generic answer...
