If I could give zero stars I would. My friends and I were passing through after spending a night in Savannah for the first time. They were undeniably busy this morning as it is Sunday after church. Service was slow, it took the server 15 minutes to come acknowledge us after we sat, just to say he’ll be right back to get our drink orders. That be right back turned into another 10 minutes of waiting and watching him serve everyone around us. He came back sassy and half assed apologetic. He took our drink orders and food orders at the same time, forgot half of our drinks and had an attitude when I asked for a fresh cup of coffee because my boyfriend’s coffee tasted weak. He brought us the bill before bringing out to go boxes that we had to continuously ask for. He acknowledged my boyfriend and our friends with grace and acknowledged me with sass and ignorance. Perhaps because I was the only one from our group speaking up and asking for the items he forgot.

While I was in line waiting to pay for our meal, my boyfriend was walking around the store at all the nostalgic treasures Cracker Barrel is known offer showing our friends. Birgit walks up to him out of no where and asks him if he’s going to pay for it. To which he said “no I’m just showing my friend”. Birgit says, “oh okay” and walks away temporarily before proceeding to follow him all around the store. It’s so said to hear about racial profiling and then to experience it first hand in times where we’re supposed to be for far passed this issue. I paid for our food and left. My boyfriend is so upset and it was really the cherry on top of a great weekend. Birgit, I’m disappointed in you, especially for your age. I’m sorry you worked your whole life at Cracker Barrel and you have nothing else to do besides racially profile young black excellence passing through your...

I recently visited Cracker Barrel and had the pleasure of meeting the most amazing person—Tamika Foster. From the moment I walked in, she gave me a warm, personalized greeting that was welcoming, kind, and sweet. Her energy was so positive that I instantly felt excited about my experience.

When she asked what I was there for, I told her I was ordering takeout. She immediately arranged for a server to assist me and ensured my order was taken promptly. Afterward, she kindly let me know that I could shop around or sit and wait for my food. I chose to step outside for a few minutes.

About 10 minutes later, as my server had estimated, I returned to pick up my food. While I was paying, another friendly staff member even took the time to show me what was on sale in the store, which led me to grab some chocolate.

However, when my server came back, they informed me that my original order was unavailable. They offered an alternative, but since it wasn’t what I originally wanted and I had already waited, I asked if they could do something to make up for the inconvenience. The kitchen manager declined.

At that point, I asked for Tamika, and she immediately took charge. She went above and beyond, personally ensuring I received my order in less than five minutes. She apologized sincerely and made sure my experience didn’t end on a bad note. Tamika was determined that my second visit—especially after a not-so-great first experience—would be a positive one.

I truly appreciate Tamika’s outstanding customer service and dedication. If you visit Cracker Barrel, I highly recommend asking for her—she is top-notch and provides five-star service. She made all the difference in my experience, and I can't thank her...

Me and my hubby just walked out of The Cracker Barrel located on Abercorn 204. Was looking forward to a good hot breakfast. Wait time wasn't long at all. We were seated right away. Placed our orders and ordered 2 cups of coffee. We waited so long on our food, even after 2 refills the coffee stayed warm. There was a white elderly couple who came after us and they were served before us!! There was an elderly man sitting ahead of us that came in after the elderly couple and he was served before us as well. They thougth they could stalI us to stick around by refillng our cups with lukewarm coffee every 5 minutes. If all I wanted was coffee for lunch, I would have went to Starbucks!! I addressed this with the manager. She did listen to the complaint and offered to let us take some food to go. I declined. I already had been there over 35 minutes waiting while other people come in after me and get served before me!! I felt like I was being served during the 60s but that's another story. I left hungry, annoyed and irritated! Ya'll got to do better! No way a customer whose been there first should be still waiting while others are coming afterwards getting their food right away!! Will not be returning and I will be posting this on Facebook as well. I guess I have to be white or a senior citizen to get my food on time!! Went to the one in Pooler they weren't no better!!!!! I explained to the manager my bad experience at the Abercorn he assured me he would make my experience much better. The food was slow and cold! At this point no more Cracker Barrel for me I'm done!!

FYI: Emailed them and no response and they do not care about...

We were heading south on I-95 and after two attempts to stop for a quick bite at Burger Kings finding both not having inside seating decided to choose a place we knew would... Cracker Barrel. First and very important when getting off I-95 be it heading North or South turn in at the first traffic light when you are heading towards the restaurant as if you pass it you will need to go to the first exit to turn around...I had to do it. Now the restaurant, typical CB with a welcoming General Store in the front with a lot of quality stuff. We were seated right away and waited on by Gabby a real 5 ⭐ server. We ordered a bowl of vegetable soup, folks while excellent 5 ⭐ it is so small for $5.99 vs. the old crock that I wonder how small it would be. I ordered a Salad that was huge and fantastic with Bacon Bits, Cheese, Cucumber, Grape Tomato a nice 5 ⭐. I ordered the Meat Loaf, Mashed potatoes and Carrots. A nice large and very tasty meal 5 ⭐. Bill got his Grandma Sampler 2 egg's sunny side (ended up getting 3 as they broke one yolk), Meat sampler Bacon, Sausage Patty and Country Ham plus two of the very best pancakes 🥞 and Maple Syrup a Super 5 ⭐. After dinner we walked the store and Bill found a USAF I served T-shirt and got 25% off for $15.00, a real deal. If you are on I-95 and want a meal, stop in as you will not be disappointed. 👍

I’m not sure why they even bring you a menu! If you don’t come on the right day, you can’t get what you want & since 50% is day specific it’s really frustrating. To many other restaurants that give you a choice….I’m sorry we really use to like eating at Cracker Barrel I received a response from the Cracker Barrel office, which I assume can be read below and I want to thank them for wasting a response with the canned response. The fact is that they used to have haddock and now they’ve switched to whitefish, but only on Thursdays and Fridays, and like so many other things, they only have certain foods on certain days of the week other than meatloaf And eggs and bacon and pancakes. Here’s the point: we spent well over $100 in the lobby buying various items as we do every time we go there. But because they limit the food more and more we go less and less, and we spend less and less on the lobby, which is usually 2 to 4 times more than we spend on the food. So if you experience a decline in sales at your Cracker Barrel‘s stores….Guess what ! it’s only gonna get worse because we’re not gonna go to eat, and then shop for all the wonderful little trinket in the lobby because we’re gonna go someplace else that’s got the food we want to eat. And because you placated us with a canned response, we’re going to lower it to one star

This visit was very very disappointing! We eat at Cracker Barrel all the time in Jacksonville, FL and we have never had such a horrible experience! First of all, the food was absolutely flavorless. No seasoning on anything. Even the catfish was flavorless. My fried chicken tasted old. Like it wasn't freshly prepared. My wing still had feathers on it! I had to send it back. The hasbrown casserole was old and hard on both of our plates! How do you put that on someone's plate and think that's ok??? I had to send THAT back. My husband never got his 3rd side. We had to remind the server 4 times, by the last time, he was already finished with his meal! And then, she didn't take the item off the bill. We spoke to her about it right before she brought the bill. We had to send the bill back for her to correct it. I paid for the meal but couldn't even eat it. A storm rolled in and the light kept flickering on and off. The server could care less about all the issues we had with our meal. The young lady at the cashier counter was more concerned about our experience than the server at our table. It was our first time eating dinner at Cracker Barrel and I do believe it will be the last. I will not be visiting this location again.
