I was asked to pay when I got there and I had reserved and gave my credit card info online a little over a week before my stay. I asked for a handicap room as I am unable to swing my leg to get into a tub. Upon checking into my room, I saw that not only was the doorway not large enough to accommodate a wheelchair to enter, that the bathroom was a tub. Also, the luggage dolly could not be wheeled into the room and allow someone to go around it to load it up much less close the room door for safety. Speaking of safety, I was put at the very last room that was next to the back/side entrance. My room door didn't latch completely unless I slammed it and, the comings and goings of other patrons out the side door went well into the night and started up again extremely early the next morning. I asked to be moved and I was quickly accommodated. However, I was told that there wasn't really any handicap room. I thought it was the law but the man that helped me said that it was an old building and none was built into it. Also, there was no elevator.
I was lectured upon checking in about not smoking or vaping in my room. I commented that I have never done so there was on worry, yet the lecture continued. She went on to say that she was the only employee at the hotel (that didn't make me feel safe!) yet as a smoker herself she had to go outside to do that and I stated I didn't see how this had anything to do with me, Yet this person failed to tell me what the breakfast hours were which I feel was an important part of choosing this hotel. She also wasn't the only employee as when I returned to the hotel around 10-ish one of the nights I stayed there, the clerk on duty had her head on a table in front of the tv in the lobby asleep. It was odd to find that both women that checked me in with some foibles the first night that none of them had any teeth! I wondered what I was getting myself into. All in all, after I was moved to another room, all was...
Read moreWorst hotel I have ever stayed at. I will Never come back and I do not recommend it to anyone. Horrible customer service. Extremely rude staff and owners. (some of the maids are pretty nice though).
Terrible breakfast. Microwaved cheese eggs, and sausage and a couple other things. the bacon feels and tastes like plastic.
Someone asked for a spoon, and the owner lady wouldn't even give this guy a plastic spoon.
Someone get cereal not during breakfast time, and they yelled at her and made her throw it away.
I've seen someone get yelled at by the female manager/owner because he eats a lot at breakfast. She was so rude. She yelled across the room in front of a bunch of people for a while..How cheap can you be. So many people don't wake up for breakfast so you're already saving money. It was so uncomfortable and made me sick to my stomach I couldn't even finish my food.
Their wifi constantly kicks you off and you have to log back in all the time and it doesn't work often.
Right next to the train track so you get woken up by a loud train. Not good if you want to get sleep.
One day their male maid (which I think is related to the owner or her husband) came in. Took one trash bag out and left and that was all the housekeeping they did that day.
Multiple times housekeeping didn't show up until after 6pm.
A girl got yelled at by the owner because she was in the hotel laundry room because she got it confused with the one used by hotel guests.
Since we stayed for an extended amount of time and spent a lot of money with them, they would only give us towels and take our trash every day. They would only clean our rooms, and give us toilet paper and necessities "every 3 days", but they actually didn't clean our room the last 5 days we were there because we were leaving. Ridiculous.
These employees and owners are very rude, and lack customer service. This was...
Read moreThe price I was given on the app was not the price I paid. When I asked about it the receptionist said the choice reward app is not up to date with the new taxes.
I checked in about 5:00. The receptionist told me to wait that she needed to check and make sure the room was clean. She called someone on the phone and when she got off the phone she said I was good to go. All blankets were on the ground. Lights were on but nobody in the room. I went back down stairs and let the receptionist know the room was not available. She argued with me that it was because the lady told her it was. Finally she said she would get me another room. Then she said there were no rooms available. IWhen I got back to the motel after 6pm. I went to my room. The room was being cleaned at that time. She said it would be a little bit. Now it was a different receptionist. I told her what was going on and she said I’ll just put you in another room. I told her that last lady let me know there were no other available rooms.
The current receptionist said we have lots and got me a different room. I wasn’t able to get to my room...
