We will never stay at this hotel again! We checked in, went to grab dinner, came back and just about the time we were falling asleep the fire alarms started going off. We proceeded down to the lobby and they told us it was a false alarm that they had been going off since 4pm intermittently! The only place they weren’t going off was in the lobby! We sat in the lobby for 2 hours with no guidance from management! Meanwhile there were 2 guys at the Bar who had been there since we checked in. The one could barely even stand and the bartenders just kept serving him shot after shot after shot. He is talking highly inappropriately about sexual gestures and proceeds to fight with another guest, punching him throwing his beer, etc. One of the bartenders tried to intervene while the other one just stood there like it was some entertainment show! Instead of kicking the gentleman out, they let him stumble to his room which meant he tied up the elevator for hours as he couldn’t figure out what was going on. We ended up checking out in the middle of the night and checking in to a different hotel. The poor lady at the front desk was doing her best but customers were yelling at her and then she was trying to gain control of the highly intoxicated gentleman. Where is your management team and why are your bartenders serving someone who can’t even stand at the bar! We had our 7 year old child with us who was terrified of the constant fire alarms in the room so our only choice was to sit in the lobby and this was the show she witnessed! We will never stay at this hotel as they clearly do not care about the safety of...
Read moreWe booked a two bedroom suite for a family of six, four adults and two small children. The website said it had two bedrooms both with King beds and a common area with a pullout couch. We requested a rollaway so our grandson would have the couch and our granddaughter would the rollaway. Two days before, we called the hotel direct and confirmed that we needed the rollaway and spoke to Stacey. After a full day of travel, we arrived late and found that it wasn't two bedrooms, it was one bedroom and a second bed in an area with 3/4 of a frosted glass wall and no door. There was no rollaway in the room and when we went to the front desk we were told they couldn't put a rollaway in the room because it was a fire hazard because of the size of the suite. Both the bedroom and bed 'area' had plenty of room for a rollaway but the management. said it was policy. There were other suites that could accommodate a rollaway but not ours. I asked why we weren't told when we requested a rollaway (both times) and the manager said that was considered a request and not guaranteed. I feel their two bedroom suite was misrepresented and management offered no other alternatives. Our 3 and 6 year olds go to bed at 7 PM so you couldn't watch television or have any lights on in the common area. It was a nightmare trying to get the little ones to sleep. We won't go back. As a Platinum Marriott customer, I will tell you that this elevated status meant nothing. Good luck if you are just a casual traveler. Oh yes, the A/C didn't work and our bedroom (we had the door) was 76...
Read moreWhen navigating to the hotel, we were impressed with the style/look of the hotel and the location. Parking was adequate even for a busy Saturday evening for another plus.
Room (2 Bedroom Suite) was very large and the appointments were what we would expect for this price range. We never used the internet so I cannot comment but there were three televisions and the quality/selection seemed to on par with what would one expect in this service level.
The view out toward Lambeau Field was very nice and even though there are three really popular bars very near, it was quiet, and the shades also worked well to block out light.
The pool area is quite small but proved to be adequate on the Sunday evening. Our daughter and her friend it to be quite overcrowded on their Saturday evening use of it.
Breakfast Sunday morning was the typical scrambled eggs and crappy sausage patties along with a fairly decent assortment of breads/muffins/etc. Waffle maker, oatmeal, and some fruit was also provided. This is an alright breakfast but nothing to joyful about but better than nothing as well.
Monday morning there was no waffle maker and no bacon left.
Overall atmosphere was a plus, staff a plus, and experience a plus. There were a few things that were less than desirable, but I guess that is to be expected to some extent. Our needs were addressed and corrected when we brought them up so that is kudos to the staff for attending to our needs and left a positive impression on us...
