I feel compelled to share for someone like me who wasn't fully prepared. The good: the venue is clean. Despite how warm it was out in the halls by concessions and the restrooms the air flow inside was decent and I wasn't as warm as I expected to be given how hot the hall is. The sound system is good. I wear hearing aids and I was able to connect to the telecoil as well. The less good: the line to get in was so long and people were being funneled single file to get through a door to walk through metal detectors. This delayed the show an hour and there weren't any staff out in the area to give any updates so none of us in line knew what was going on. It isn't until you get to the doors where an officer yells instructions to you. Due to the size of the crowd and my hearing impairment I struggled to hear them and some normal hearing people couldn't hear. I realize lack of staff happens so... they'll ask you to set your bag down on the table if you have one or take everything out of your pockets and then walk through with your hands above your head. Just prepare yourself and limit what you bring into the venue. Getting to your seats is fine. Concessions were crowded and it took awhile to get anything. Expect to pay $4 for a bottled water and $5 for a soda or Gatorade. The seats on the ground floor are metal folding chairs. Everything else is pull down plastic chairs. There is zero room between you and the next person. I'm an average size person and if you are sitting by anyone bigger than average (I'm not judging) you will be sardined into your seat. There are zero cup holders so you'll have to set your drinks on the floor under your seat. The seats themselves are not comfortable at all. You'll have to compete with your seat neighbors for an armrest...if you get to use it at all. If anyone has to get up to go to Concessions or the restroom the entire row to get to the aisle will have to stand to let them out. The seating area is steep and narrow. So watch where you set your drinks. Anytime a row has to stand they're going to block the view of the people behind them. There's no way to avoid this. Honestly had I known this, I wouldn't have gone unless I could get ground level seating and this will be the only way I return in the future. At least those seats were spaced out a bit. The cost of some of these events to be this uncomfortable to me isn't worth it. I'm in my late 30s so the younger generation may be...
Read moreI tried going to a concert here after boycotting the venue for two years. The place has gone from annoying to an absolute dump! Please give the caps with the water bottles.. as if the floor didn't have enough spilled beer on it already. I challenge the next person who falls to file suit. I paid extra for a seat on the floor. Nobody was checking tickets, so people were crowding into the aisles. This wouldn't bother me if they just came up for a little while and went back, but they were throwing drinks and smoking cigarettes (actual nicotine cigarettes). If the sound hadn't been horrible, I might have stuck around. Luckily, I decided to ditch out right before people started throwing punches. This is all because no one cares enough to check tickets. Some people don't even bother to go through the main entrance anymore. If you do go through the gate, they make a huge production about inspecting tiny clutch bags and wallets but obviously aren't concerned about people bringing drugs or bothering to check places large enough to stow a weapon. Have a little common sense. Stop touching my things, and stop invading my privacy. Also, the hand stamp system is the most unsanitary thing anybody ever thought of. Gross. You didn't check their ticket, but you are to give somebody a stamp when they want to go look at the merch. Why? I saw a guy with a walker struggling to get to the bathrooms on the 2nd floor. The ones on the main level were cordoned off and being heavily guarded by the police. If you're not going to stop people from punching each other in the seats, why are you there? The bathroom doesn't need you to guard it THAT much. ‐----------------------------------- Water bottles fall through the cup holders, phones fall down inside the bleachers, the bathrooms are all upstairs (inconvenient for anyone paying extra for a floor ticket), limited snacks, unusually and uncomfortably over-sized drinks (expect to be overserved), and I expect it's their fault my stubhub ticket wasn't released in time for the show. Shocking lack of public...
Read moreattended the Ghost show 9/23/22 and was absolutely appalled at the way security and venue staff were treating fans. absolutely no hate or ill feelings towards the band, as they would have been horrified to know how their fans were being treated as well. it seemed like none of the staff members were communicating to each other as many of them told fans different rules and regulations, confusing everyone as to what they can and cannot bring inside or do, one staff member in particular told multiple disabled fans that were not allowed to bring their canes or accessibility tools inside the venue with them and that they needed to "show proof of disability" which is illegal. fans were told to "calm down" after this was reported to the higher ups of the venue. fans created and followed lines to help staff differentiate the status of their tickets (i.e: early entry vip, general admission, etc.) once doors were about to open, security told everyone that "there is no point in making lines, once we open the doors, the people at the back of the line have every right to cut across the courtyard and skip if they want" which was extremely insulting to the people who were sitting in line all day/early in the morning and not very safe to allow people to push and bum-rush the front doors, kind of defeats the point of having security when you tell people its every man for themselves and there is "nothing they can do about it" despite having rails and barricades to signify the beginning of the line. highly disappointed with the execution of security and the way the crowd was handled, one of the worst concert venues i've been to. hopefully this was just a one time thing and not how this venue runs on a...
