Hey, Starbucks groupie here. I've had my shared of drive-thru and mobile pickup orders on a weekly basis with many Starbucks in the Los Angeles County area. This is my two-cents and a nickel on this location. Let's jump right into this review.
This location is at the intersection of Hawthorne Blvd. & Imperial Hwy. Stand alone location.
Drinks (seasonal) - What I got this time - Summertime Berry Refresher Blend of raspberry, blueberry and blackberry flavor shaken with ice and poured over raspberry-flavored pearls
Fireworks Frapp - LIMITED EDITION drink for the 4th of July - It was scrumptious! About those ingredients - I forgot. Lol.
Drinks (my usuals) Venti Strawberry Acaí with lemonade, no strawberries, add peach juice
Venti Green Tea with water, add 2 splendas, sometimes I substitute water for lemonade
Grande Hot Chocolate w/ extra whipped cream, with a splash of vanilla syrup - kids temp :)
Things to know: Drive-thru available and inside accessible. No tables and chairs at this location. Take your drink to go.
Plenty of free parking.
The staff is friendly and personable at this location. No complaints. BUT wait time is slow. Even with mobile orders it still takes awhile before the order is ready.
The inside is usually in "good shape" (clean), lol.
Busy location.
If you rolling through the Hawthorne area and need your Starbucks...
Read moreCame to this location and Margaret took our order. She very rude and short with us, making us feel rushed and like we were not able to order anything else (ended up having to go to another location to place the rest of my order)
There was no other customers in drive thru or inside. When we approached the window she did not have her apron on, had derogatory music blasting and our coffees were made rushed and wrong (I paid extra for soy milk and didn’t get it. Also my boyfriend ordered a hazelnut pike place coffee and there was no creamer in it. It was a black coffee) She did not care to clean the cups from the spills nor did she place stickers of our orders on our drinks. It was confusing as to who’s drink was who’s. After we paid and asked for napkins, she handed them off in a toss-like manner and told us we were good to go in a very dismissive-like way and walked away as we stayed in place to wipe down the cups that she did not clean. I understand that we came 30 mins before closing time but the doors should not be closed until the closing time marked on said doors. I have never received such poor service from any Starbucks before. I’m a regular Starbucks consumer and situations like this can make even the most loyal consumer turn to look for alternative coffee shops. This is the location on 4410 west Imperial Hwy in Hawthorne CA. Margaret...
Read moreLove this Starbucks store. It's hard to hit at a non busy time, but it's still worth a little wait if you have to. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, drinks are of course fresh and made to order. Store is really clean for such a high volume location, that is a credit to the staff, they are on top of things. Will be back for sure.
(Update 6/13/22: I stopped in on the way home from work and the parking lot was completely full. Finally a vehicle pulled out and I got a space. I went in and there were only 2 customers in the store. They need to police the parking lot as many potential customers that pulled in just left again while I was waiting for a space. I ordered a venti drip coffee and to my surprise they filled the cup by tilting the near empty pots that were on the counter and mixing the flavors. Even at that my cup was under 3/4 full. Seems to me like a training session is needed for these new Barista's. A rep from the cash register company walked in while I was there and said he had to work on the register. They only have one for walk in customers. The manager told him to come back around 8pm to which he told her he was there and was going to work on it now. They had to put up a sign on the door that only drive through was open and lock out the customers that were trying to come in. Not very...
