Purchasing the mattress was a fine experience. I already knew what I wanted to buy, so it was easy, I dealt with Rodger. Scheduling the delivery was fine. I purchased on a Tuesday and set delivery for Friday. I received the call, email, and text on Thursday evening telling the delivery window. When Friday came and I got a call, email, and text that the delivery drivers were ten minutes away. I then get a phone call from the delivery driver to try and find my address. Once he knew businesses nearby, they were actually an hour and 15 minutes away. He said he had to call his supervisor. A few minutes later, he called and said that his supervisor said not to do our delivery because we would mess up their schedule. He was very apologetic, and I assured him it wasn’t his fault. He said his supervisor said for us to call the store we purchased from to get our correct address (our address was correct because I confirmed it multiple times upon purchase and confirming delivery). I called the store and spoke to Ron. He confirmed my address and said that it was right in the system. He said he would reschedule our delivery for Sunday and he would call the warehouse to explain the address issue. On Saturday, I never got a call, email, or text confirming a delivery so I called the store to make sure everything was still okay for the Sunday delivery. I spoke with Ron and asked him, and he said that he would have to call me back. He called me and said that Ron never actually scheduled the Sunday delivery or called the warehouse, and the next day available for delivery was Tuesday. Monday night, I get a call, email, and text confirming a delivery window. Tuesday, I got a call, and email stating that the delivery guys were 10 minutes away. They arrived within 10 minutes, and were very friendly and quick. They were the best part about the entire process. Read moreMattress Firm sales staff we're very friendly and personable, but we did feel that there was some high pressure placed on us to purchase any bed that was more expensive and not necessary or totally affordable. We were able to address this the next day and came up for some more affordable and Equitable solution. The main problem that we experience with that of poor communication between Mattress Firm their warehouse and the delivery process. We felt that Mattress Firm understood and agreed upon what our expectations were. But apparently the warehouse in the delivery drivers were not on the same page and truly did not understand the scope of the install. It took two attempts in two separate Crews to actually get to bed installed in our house and move our old bed into another room. The first delivery crew we're under the impression that they were not committed to do any sort of movement or disassembling of the existing bed, and they actually left our house without attempting to deliver the bed. We spoke to the warehouse managers and Mattress Firm and was able to address this and set up another delivery for the next day. The second delivery crew where more aware of the requirements but still had some Communications gaps, but they did address majority of our concerns and did get the installation completed. In conclusion, we felt that Mattress Firm was a good store to deal with and their merchandise was reasonably priced and dependable. But we would suggest that you need to have a good handle on what you're looking for and you must stay in the communication Loop. Mattress Firm, will send you text and emails that pretty much will keep you in the loop you just have to hope that these same Communications are getting to the delivery drivers. Read moreRoger is really cool, but to be fair all of your staff is really cool, very professional and there for one thing: to help customers find a mattress that will work for them. To be honest, I had no plans to buy a mattress the day I walked in the store. I have a really bad back from a disc bulge and arthritis. I was injured when I was on active duty. Most mattresses do not work for me. I have been told in the past to use a firm mattress, but they cause too much pain. I looked at the price of one of them and knew I could not afford it. Roger gave me different options and in the end I was able to finance the mattress and foundation. My other box spring and mattress have been on the floor for years. I also don't have room for anymore than twin or twin xl size because my room is a bedroom/office. Even my desk is a foldout plastic table due to lack of room.
The mattress and foundation were delivered today, Good Friday. The moving team was reliable, proficient and efficient. They do not play games and are on the ball with their work. They are dedicated and focused to setting things up for you.
