They were somehow out of lemonade and couldnt use the dragonfruit juice for the margarita to make cocktails which was disappointing to my pregnant girlfriend, as she obviously can't drink alcohol.
I ordered the dragon fruit margarita which unfortunately came with an unprompted sugar room and when I asked for a different glass with salt (as should likely be the default for this drink or at least ask) it took over five minutes to get the glass.
Texas tonion was fairly good. Salad was good, and the blue cheese dressing was fairly bodly flavored, which I enjoyed. French onion soup was good. My ribeye steak was done correctly and was very good. I did have an empty glass of water for several minutes.
My girlfriends Flo's filet steak had no sear or crust despit le asking for the same cooking temperature as mine which had a very proper crust. When the steak was set down she immediately said something to the effect of "why does his have a crust but mine doesn't", which I kind of laughed at how she put it, but then the waitress laughed and I don't know if she didn't understand my girlfriend and thought that she didn't care, but this is a steak house is it not? If you can't serve a steak properly, don't sell it. Additionally this is one of their promoted menu items. Nothing was done about the steak and when we received our check my and the waitress asked if everything was fine, my girlfriend more clearly said the steak wasn't great and it had no crust. The waitress said she would inform the kitchen and then brought back our receipt to sign and tip and said or did nothing else about the bad steak.
Overall it was a fair experience, but we really aren't all that hard to please and it was...
Read moreI ate here last night with my wife for our anniversary. Food was wonderful we even got a complimentary sundae to celebrate everything was good other than dealing with the utter idiocy you call your hosts. When we came in we were greeted by a kid with glasses assuming he does not know English because I had asked him several times for a booth he smiled at me asked me to repeat myself which I did I believe 4 times after telling him booth for the final time he smiled and took us to a table instead. Irritated I snagged another host or server and asked them to move us to a booth which they happily did. As we were enjoying our meal it got busier at this time the kid with glasses looked to be "helping" clean tables. Later on we then overheard two of the hosts telling him he needs to start cleaning tables which I assume wasn't getting down because we had several dirty tables around us. We then heard the same two hosts say the same thing to him again clearly getting agitated with him. The one host looked to have a tray full of dishes stacked high clearly working harder than the boy in glasses. We told our server about the occurrence and asked if he was maybe new our server stated no and that this happens often!!! He should not be working here if he does not understand a morsel of English especially if hes causing the other hosts to work ten times harder just to make up for his laziness. Which they were! The two hosts that were cleaning tables were running around trying to keep up while the boy in glasses moved as slowly as possible. Very disappointed in...
Read moreWe originally wanted to go to Applebee's but they were having a private function so we thought we'd hop over next door here.. BIG MISTAKE!!!
Firstly, the hostess was beyond rude, arrogant and looked like she did not want to serve us at all. She looked very dirty, hair all over her face, dirty fingernails and just not presentable. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to serve us. The waitress was nice (the only positive experience) but still we waited for over an hour for our order. They didnt have ANY VEGETABLES WHATSOEVER!!! My husband ordered a super well done steak and what came was the opposite. It was so so underdone that after the second bite he was done. He also ordered French onion soup and what came was like a frozen pack of beef pattie that was just thrown in and the bowl was very dirty. The food was absolutely terrible that neither myself and my husband could eat it. We just took doggy bags to be polite and not make a fuss but threw them out in the dumpster because it was that bad. So many screaming children everywhere.. loads of distressed parents and noisy students.. very very uncomfortable and as a person who frequently dines, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Go to Applebee's. I go there often and food and service is far...
