Food was delicious.. we had the Best waitress thus far named Katie.. she was one the best hospitality workers I have ever seen. There was graduation parties going on in the area we were in.. they were swamped with parties but Katie handled everything like a professional met everyone’s needs and went above and beyond expectations!! She definitely deserves a raise! She thought of everything we needed before we asked and let us know that the kitchen was working on our food as quickly as possible.. food came in perfect timing even though they were busy. She (Katie) was so nice and attentive .. true meaning of service with a smile.. overall she was one of the best people thus far.. we loved her and the experience definitely deserved 5 stars because of Katie! Great performance and personality.. Definitely request her for your server! Great service with amazing smile! Thanks Katie for your spectacular service! We appreciate you so much! We will definitely be back.. soon! Thank you too Kristin the manager for hiring such an incredible person like Katie.. she was awesome!!!

I'm responsible for my experience. I will give you facts. Decade resident of the lakeside area the drive alone is 15 minutes. In my opinion, it beats that horrible narrow I-30 ride to Mighty Crab. I have had food from this establishment 3 times to give a true opinion. My crawfish is still at their restaurant. I have a 15% off wrote on a receipt if anyone is interested. I had to make a hour worth of driving for Red Pier to give me a bag of shrimp that literally came out the trash. Never fixed the order correctly. The receipt has something wrote on it can someone translate? I was really rooting for this place but with the lack of seasoning on every visit needing to add slap yo mama and ol bay I might as well just take the chance of death to Mighty Crab. Note whomever enjoyed my daughter's MudBugs. God Bless you. You have got the last dollar from me. I would also like to publicly apologize to Mighty Crab on University Ave Little Rock AR for my disloyalty.

Went the for the first time last night. I got the headless Shrimp with cajun and garlic seasoning in hot heat and added sausage. My friend got the snow Crab. The potatoes I would had preferred to be softer. The Crab had a very fishy flavor that I don't get when I cook them at home, so I wasn't sure if that was alarming or not. I believe they use oil instead of butter because it tastes oily and the leftovers have been in the fridge overnight and it's funny. Butter would had hardened. Overall, I'm glad to have this restaurant as an option but i can do my own seafood boil and my shrimp will be more tender, my Crab won't taste fake, and my potatoes will be softer. I didn't get to try their adult beverages because I had to work, but I intend on giving them another shot and trying their drinks. Waitress was new, Noel, and she was friendly, no issues with service nor cleanliness. I'll update this review once we visit again.

The 1st time I went it was really good bc it was different but the 2nd time around I feel I can give a more fair answer accurate review. Service was good. Crab legs were overcooked which means they couldn't be cracked and the meat was not coming out of the legs. But the crawfish was very good. Love the seasonings. But messy. The gloves have got to go they create more of a mess than help. Maybe latex not sure. Tea was yummy. All in All I can tell that this is not a real Cajun ran restraunt. Salute to my Cajun family in Louie Louisuana. I was chatting at the hair salon with ladies and did hear another lady say that she has noticed that the Red Pier is just like the Lighty Crab in Little Rock and that she was very disappointed. She said that looks like all the Chinese buffets are turning into these Cajun places. I don't mind who runs the eating places. All I want is quality food and Crab legs can Crack especially for the price. Oh and my 1st visit there, they did not offer any crackers to crack our crablegs and our eating utensils were all plastic which was not good for getting into those legs. Know what I mean. Al in all, I did enjoy the experience, I do encourage you to try it at least once and decide for yourself. 1st visit cost over $100 & we order the dinner for 2 seafood bag whatever their called. We ordered an appetizer, too. Appetizer was very good. 2nd visit we got out under 100. I ordered a bowl of Crab chowder. 🦀 it was not hearty and lacked Crab. They had plenty of staff to accommodate their diners. Idk if they have liquor license yet. I saw no liquor in the bar. Just alot of employees trying to look like they were staying busy. I enjoyed both visits but now that I have been. I'll just go to Kroger and make my own for the cost. I'll get more...

Im sad this review isn't rated higher, but I need to be honest. Today me and my family went in for an early mother's day dinner. Now I had no price limit for anyone since I wanted them to enjoy their time. The waitress who served us was really sweet and was great at her job. The problem was the food.....we ordered hot and extra hot.... nothing was hot....ordered Cajun seasoning and nothing tasted like home. Nothing reminded us of New Orleans despite the restaurant being Cajun based seafood. The seasoning was on the shell of our lobster and crab, making it obvious the food isn't boiled in the seasoning. My sauce had a strange taste, I strange hit of lemon. Then I often felt dirt in my mouth which let me know they didn't clean the crawfish. Which is a MUST. The waitress did ask the first time if the food was amazing, none of us answered then she asked if the portions were big, which we then responded with yes. But to sum up the food, overcooked, shell is the only flavorful thing. Now lastly. The bill, I paid $425.54 for this entire meal....I didn't want to pay that but I did since we did eat the food in hopes of enjoying it. However, what was a disappointment was seeing the waitress signal 0 to the other wait staff because I didn't leave a tip. I heard mumbling and laughing and I knew it was about us. I was disappointed because I don't tip off card, but I do tip in cash. Seeing that display disgusted me. All in all the food was not good, I will not be back. If I could refund this I WOULD! I would also like the wait staff to know if you're going to trash the customers for not tipping at least don't do it out...

Genuinely one of the worst restaurants we've eaten at. The service started out good, we were seated & had our orders taken quickly & the waitress seemed very nice. The appetizer was good, we got fried pickles and liked them.

Another member of the group and I both ordered the seafood boil combos that come in a big bag. The shrimp was good & so was the seasoning, but the boiled eggs were boiled entirely too long. The entire yolk is almost dark green & throws off the whole thing. My potatoes weren't cooked all the way through and were still too tough. The crawfish was definitely the worst thing on the plate and was basically inedible. Corn was mediocre. For how much the seafood boils cost, I expected to get something I enjoyed and I really didn't. We could not even finish them.

My boyfriend ordered the fried soft shell crabs and hated them, as did everyone else at the table. Another member of our group got fried fish, and because it's fried in flour & not cornmeal, it's mushy and really gross. She didn't eat more than a bite. The fries were the only good thing at this restaurant that I would order again, if I was ever so unfortunate to find myself back here.

We never saw our waitress except for maybe twice. At the end, she took forever to bring us our ticket, and when she got to the table & we asked to split it, she took even longer. It was genuinely nearly a fifteen minute wait just for her to split the ticket so we ended up getting up and just paying at the front. I don't recommend this place to anyone ever and if I could give it zero...
