Be very aware of the cancellation policy. There will be a receipt you will have to save/print, no email confirmation. You will have absolutely no information about the inn on the post payment confirmation. The name, the address, absolutely nothing.
Also when you go to the hotel website there is no cancelation policy listed there. The only place you will a cancelation policy will be when you agree to pay at the time of booking.
So imagine this, a month prior to your trip you pay to stay here, you get no email reminding you of your trip, you look at the payment confirmation you printed with no address or name of the inn. Then you get closer to your trip and you can not remember what inn you’re staying at, you look for something with a golf area from memory. Anyway you give up book another hotel, and then bam you get a charge for the first night for not canceling your booking! They have your information on file, yet they don’t advertise any cancelation policy on tbt website!!! How do you cancel a booking for an inn that doesn’t even give you an address on your reservation or the cancelation policy on the website. Thanks a bunch. Im going to consider my cancelation payment as a donation to this...

He recommended a place for dinner and didn't do us wrong. Then when I asked about the Evan's Plunge he not only told us about the twilight special he also lent us the motels pool towels to use so we didn't have for pay for the rentals at the plunge. Then we get into the room. It looked very clean and smelled like it was just done. We got the AC going and went for a walk. When we returned our room was nice and cool and very inviting. If we could give half stars I would take away a half for the firmness of the bed. But it wasnt too bad when you put the whole experience together. Wished we could've taken advantage of the free mini golf but when we stay there next time we most definitely will! The free breakfast is the typical continental breakfast. So don't get...
Read moreCute place! Stopped here after getting off the road after traveling through Nebraska and the Black Hills, and it was perfectly affordable and perfectly clean. Very comfy bed for passing out after a long day of driving.
The owner is very friendly and courteous, and happily offered us orange juice and snacks the next morning even though we slept past breakfast. He had great recommendations for what to see and do in the Black Hills area, and helped us feel more than welcome when kicking off a long road trip.
I would definitely recommend this adorable inn to anyone driving through the Black Hills area. Those $300 cabins nearby aren't worth it, but the Hills Inn...
