10X Boba Tea Lounge — Restaurant in Houston

Don’t come to this place if you want to be rudely ignored just because you were unaware of outside food items not being allowed to be eaten inside. This had happened months ago in may of 2025, I had just graduated and came by the plaza, I first stopped at H mart to walk around and bought a pastry. I then decided that I wanted to side somewhere nice while I wait for my ride to pick me up, so I search up places nearby and see the beautiful interior this place has to offer and so I enter and sat down in the sofa area near the entrance and waited there for my ride while occasionally eating my pastry. A worker then walks up to me and tells me that outside food isn’t allowed, I assured her that I didn’t know and if there was anyway I could prevent being kicked out from this place(from what I remember she was implying for me to leave the store just because I took around 3 bites of my pastry), she then proceeded to completely ignore my question and just walk away leaving me in confusion to what to do because I was just simply waiting for a ride not causing any commotion. Because I was ignored I decided to just wait outside because I didn’t want any trouble, however to this day I still think that interaction was very rude and I sincerely apologize for not knowing the policies here, a simple acknowledgment and kindness would’ve flipped this situation completely around and I would’ve let it go. Thus, this store needs some serious customer service management....

It was my first time coming here for a BTS event and the vendors were very nice and the music being all the tannies' was awesome. The drinks and food were also good. However the customer service was terrible. The cashier had a bad attitude. She was a young asian lady with washed-out pink hair in a ponytail. We were waiting for her to let us know when she was ready take our order since she seemed a little busy. When it was time, she didn't give any indication that she was ready to take our order and just stared at us with a deadpan expression as if she just wanted to tell us to hurry up. She didn't explain anything about the things that we asked while making our orders, such as ingredients/toppings, and just stared at us as we should've known already or as if we were dumb. When we asked about something that she had said, she just stayed quiet and then responded with a harsh tone. We just felt a little lost over the interaction because she seemed very unapproachable. I usually don't write reviews for anywhere I go, but I really just had to write something about this place. Its absolutely exceptional. The atmosphere feels great. I felt so welcomed, not sure if that was due to the friendly staff or the amazing decorations that placed, but either way, I genuinely enjoyed my experience here. Great place to study or just chill out with friends, and theres plenty of space to sit and all of the seats are so comfortable. Love the aesthetic, cant say that enough! definitely recommend. 5 stars just for the decorations honestly! in addition to that, the drink I tried was really good too. I recommend the Butterfly Pea Matcha Latte if you want to try something new. This drink and concept is quite unique as I honeslty have not seen it at any other boba shops. its worth a try I promise! Really have nothing bad to say about this one! The owners were also present at the time I came. While I had personally not talked to them, they seemed like splendid people. 6/5 stars if I could...
