Very nice experience here. The employees are super friendly and easy to communicate with. I will say it is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but no real complaints. I had the General Tao's Chicken. The young lady warned me that it was spicy. I will say that it was not spicy at all. I think many places have just gotten used to spicy for Americans versus spicy for Chinese. The flavors were good despite this and the service was super fast. My wife is Chinese and she was very happy with everything. Would recommend Yantze to anyone but it is not for those seeking a more formal experience. The prices were very reasonable.

Surprisingly good. Now the restaurant isn’t much to look at inside, but the service is good. The menu is not the biggest but on the plus side the food arrives super quick and the quantity and quality was sensible along with the cost. In summary, if you need a quick reliable meal that’s well priced and better sized, this place will not let you down.

We visited during lunch time on a Saturday. The place is packed. I had their $3.00 lunch special. You picked three items and choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup. I picked egg plant, tofu and some kind of shredded meat. They are horrible. Especially the meat dish, I don’t know what kind of meat that is and taste gross. I guess you get what you pay for. My husband had beef with broccoli lunch special from the menu. I also ordered the stir fried green bean and a fish with spicy bean sauce. My husband likes his beef with broccoli. My green bean is totally tasteless and my green bean was all coated with some kind of slimy stuff. I can’t tell they are grease or corn starch. The only thing good is the fish. A pretty big fish and all for $5.50. This place is very cheap. The service is very good comparing to other Chinese restaurants. You were greeted immediately as you walked in. The restaurant is nice and clean but I am very skeptical about their food. I am just worry about the quality of the ingredients. I think that was the reason I stopped going...

Came to China town for the first time and was excited to try this place out. I ordered a to go a meal along with cheese puffs and when I opened the box there was no sweet and sour sauce in the box so I go back in to ask for some, The owner then accuses me of eating the food and I told her I had just picked it up a few minutes prior and just needed the sauce. I explained it was the red sauce that usually comes with the cream cheese puffs, she gave me duck sauce claiming it was the sweet and sour sauce. She eventually apologized for the miscommunication and said the sweet and sour sauce is an up charge because they have to make it. Ive never been to a Chinese restaurant and they charge you for something that is standard. That’s like getting sweet and sour chicken and you only get the chicken and no sauce. I finally asked for a refund because of the poor service and inability to complete my order. Also, The owners brother was extremely rude as well. Such a shame that she jumped to conclusions and accusing me instead of taking the time to listen. Do...

I ive the eggplant sauteed in dark garlic sauce mixed with baby corn, carrots. it's unique in flavor that's got the right balance of fanciness and tartness that you can't lean one way or the other - it's got the right temperament. Its a bit spicy too for the traditional Asian punch. then there's the shredded pork with bamboo shoot, or bean curd if you like. but eithere way it's another favorite of mine to go with shrimp fried rice. the way they have their fried rice is either your traditional dark colored blend with soy sauce, or light blend like plain steam rice tossed in with the choice of meat and condiments. I like the light blend just for aesthetics I guess because they both taste great anyhow. their soup is not the greatest or offers no surprise but suits your palate as your expectations for sweet n sour or egg drop might be. sweet n sour is always a delight no surprises either just faithful treat to a class is Chinese dish. All in all this is you mom-and-pop Chinese cuisine from which you can expect good food when you're in the mood for...
