This place should be condemned. The first room I was offered smelled, and was very damp. It felt like an old stinky basement. The walls were decaying and paint chips falling on the carpet. The floor boards felt as if they rotted away under the carpet, tiles and grout were broken in the bathroom with what appeared to be dirt coming up. The faucet for the bathtub was pulled away from the wall exposing the outside. Holes in the ceiling with water stains everywhere. There is a 10 minute refund policy which was past at this point, so I asked for another room. The third room I was shown was better but not by much. Both beds featured unknown stains on the sheets. I slept fully clothed and only walked on the floor wearing shoes. It was a very uncomfortable night. In the morning (and in the light) I noticed many doors to hotel rooms had been broken into. Looking into the room next to me, the mattress was flipped and the room was ransacked. So glad to be out of that place. Worst hotel experience I ever had. The building really does need to be condemned. I have many more photos in my profile, unfortunately Google is only displaying one photo with this review.

Disgusting. Vile. Atrocious. If you have any human decently you would not stay here but those that do clearly aren't going in the right direction in life. The place is run down, gross, filthy, and smelly. Several people literally live here... Several doors are boarded up, the hallways/stair cases are filled with tons of trash. Tons of caution tape littered all of the place definitely makes it feel welcoming and fun to stay at. Several of the walk ways as well have dumpster worthy amounts of trash and creek as if they are about to break. Ewwww. Smelly...

Was told complimentary breakfast was stopped due to people stealing, for awhile. They did offer me a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee though. I havent seen any bed bugs or roaches but my toilet constantly runs. When housekeeping comes u have to hand them your dirty towels and things and handle things yourself, they dont even come in the room. Staff has been friendly. Rooms very run down and could use some attention. Its is now may 5 2018 and this morning as i was going to head to work, there was a dead body being removed from one of the rms. The staff is well aware of the activity that goes on there and just dont care as long as they r making the ole mighty dollar. I've had maintenance come fix my door and the the guy at the desk several times, still not satisfactory, heck of a law suit if anything missing or i get hurt. I had to only take showers first month there because someone clued knob so i couldnt turn shower off and take a bath, that problem is fixed. I had a confetti balloon bust in my rm 2 wks ago and there is still confetti on the floor, thats how good housekeeping is. Lord forbid u leave your plastic eating utensils by sink to be washed they take it upon themselves to throw them away, now i have to go buy more. Exhaust fan in bathroom doesnt work, hell it doesnt even have a cover on it its totally gone. The floor mat u step on was taken by housekeeping and never brought back, they better not say i took it i wouldnt take ANYTHING from this place. As i said earlier though the staff is really nice except night shift. Was nice at first but wants...

My husband decided that he wanted to surprise me with a night away this past Friday night. There's a conveniention in town and rooms are scarce. He ended up renting a room here at Country Hearth and paying cash. Huge mistake! The jacuzzi didn't work. The cold water wouldn't even turn on in the sink in the bedroom. The room smelled so musty we had to buy air freshener. There was no phone in the room to even call the front desk. Thank God we didn't need to call 911 from a landline. We asked for a 12 check out. We went out Saturday morning to do some errands and came back to room being ransacked by two Arabic housekeepers who didn't seem to speak English. They had our things we had left in the room and were going to keep them!!!!! I kept asking where our case of soda was and finally the female of the pair takes me into the bedroom pulls a sheet off the something in the corner and hands me a pillowcase full of our sodas!!!! When we went to the desk to check out we mentioned the jacuzzi didn't work. He said, "oh yeah we know there's a problem with the water other people tell us the same thing." Ok? Then why are you renting the room if you know there's a problem? We mentioned we might stay another night but didn't want to pay jacuzzi room rate since it wasn't working. He wouldn't lower rate! So we paid 140.00 cash to stay in one of the biggest dumps in Indianapolis in my opinion! Terrible customer service and terrible property maintenance! I wonder what poor sucker got took for their hard earned...
