Deluxe Inn — Hotel in Indio

This hotel was completely disgusting. I had never stayed in a hotel in worse conditons. There were holes all over the wall, the tile floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. The room was non smoking and someone smoked in it. There multiple cockroaches in the room along with other dead insects that were decomposing which tells me the room had not been cleaned in several days. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and am now suffering a very large asthma attack due to this place. I informed the front desk person that this room was disgusting. I was told that they could do nothing and I would have to ask expedia for my money back. I didn't even book with expedia. I never saw anyone over the age of about 20 running this Hotel. Looked like the owner;'s kid's or something. I get that their policy is no refunds but seriously, the room needs to be presentable. I have never been so disgusted in my life. I was not able to find another open hotel in this area so was forced to stay. I had to clean the bathroom myself with disinfectant wipes before it was usable. The sheets were also stained and dirty. I don't think they were changed since the last person stayed in them. The worse part is the hotel staff didn't care about the conditions of their hotel. FOR $200, YOU TOO CAN STAR IN YOUR OWN HORROR FILM!

This was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever seen. So awful that I left after 30 minutes. It was clear the sheets on either bed had not been cleaned (large stains) with hairs on the sheets. There was also some mystery blue substance on the sink.

The most revolting part of the room were the large blood splatter stains over BOTH mattresses (one picture of each bed).

It’s a budget hotel so I don’t expect 1000 thread count pillowcases or breakfast. For $200 a night, I would expect a hotel to at least have the decency to wash the sheets and hide the blood stains with a mattress cover. Maybe the police department give them a deal on mattresses from murder cases? I’m not sticking around to find out.

The hotel refused to refund me so I am warning others before you drop $200 to star in your own horror film. Even $20 is overpriced for this place. Trust me, your car is cleaner.

P.S. I didn’t see bedbugs because I didn’t want to get too close to the linens but it would not surprise me if a place this revolting had bedbugs. P. P. S. They also quoted me $170 +tax on the phone and then changed the price once I arrived but integrity is so 2021. Like bleach and...

I am only putting FIVE star so this shows up. There is a strong and foul nauseating smell in the "lobby" but it's more of a living area for the management. There is train tracks right across the street that are so extremely loud that when the service desk attendant was speaking to me I could NOT hear them. Parking is also ridiculously small. They refuse to help in any way with refunds because they apparently know that their establishment is horrendous and need to make income some how. Rude. Disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR EVEN A NIGHT.
