Budget Inn Motel — Hotel in Indio

Fortunately my Fiance and I are good natured and have a sense of humor. We are laughing off an otherwise bad experience.

My first impression as I walked in the door was ""this is definitely budget" and then I saw the "No refunds for any reason" sign, hand written in marker.

The 69 plus tax seemed a little high but I wasn't in the mood to drive around motel to motel and just wanted a place for 4-5 hours sleep.

I wasn't expecting much and got even less!

I've stayed at worse but not by much and they were priced accordingly, and normally I,would be upset but my Fiance and I are having a good laugh about it.

I don't need to go into detail about the room, there is plenty of acurate details in other reviews, it is as BAD as described.

So much so that on my way out, when dropping off the key, I said to the guy "this place is a dump, really, you need to drop your price way down" and of course his response as as expected....

He made a dismissing motion with his hands and grumbled something.

Recently my Fiance and I have made a hobby of watch B movies, but we don't pay much, and have fun laughing at how bad the movie is,

So...

If you want to overpay a lot to stay in a crappy little dump, and laugh it off, you'll know what to...

We made reservations arrived at hotel NO staff in office to check customer in (after 10 min wait). During that time we opened entrydoor several times And rang their "service door bell", and called site listed phone number( which we could hear ringing). Staff NEVER ANSWERED PHONE, DOOR NOR CAME TO OFFICE. You could literally hear a voice in attached living quarters!!@

Customer service at booking company called the same site number and manager of Budgey did NOT answer their call! Other customers waiting in foyer andnoutside--- no response from.staff

DO NOT EVEN TRY THIS PLACE Only one other car in the site lot

Seems sketchy and like a scam.

Terrible experience...

I booked this place for a week. My first impression as I walked into the room was an unbelievably cloying smell of a deodorizing chemical. The presence of a dozen houseflies hanging around on the ceiling taking their time to buzz around and pester me now and then added to the ambience. Holes burnt into the sheets and covers of the bed linens were a nice touch. Then to add to the whole picture, waking up to bedbugs trying to snack on you... Best wake up ever.||||Left after one night. The booking was non-refundable and property owner/management would not make it right. So now I'm out $900 for something that isn't usable.||||I would advise...
