Izumi Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in Jamestown

Definitely the nicest restaurant in town! We were on a road trip driving through and I was really struggling to find a place that was both open on Sunday’s and had outdoor seating where we could sit with our dog. We happened to drive by Izumi and saw that they had outdoor seating. When I walked in to ask if we could sit outside, the hostess was so friendly and nice. Finally, we found a place that would allow us to eat on their patio with a pup! On top of that, the food was also really, really good. There is a decent selection of vegetarian options as well (something that is really difficult to find in Jamestown). I personally think the veggie Hamachi was better than the sushi, but both were delicious. Above all, the staff was fantastic. 5 stars all...

food is goood but… in this restaurant they have a fish tank which is over stocked ( too many fish inside of it) and has goldfish and tropical fish in it which makes the water murky, they don’t have any plants in the tank (real or fake), goldfish require a minimum of 50 gallons and so do angel fish, there are two other pretty large fish in there which im not sure what they were but definitely too large for that tank, not sure i saw a heater which tropical fish need, i know a lot of people don’t properly take care of fish and they’re often neglected but as someone who’s in the hobby it makes me disappointed when people don’t properly take care of animals. please do research before getting animals or learn to take care of them properly if you...

No complaints here, the imitation crab meat udon was really yummy and that’s impressive for imitation crab, the server was very kind and helpful and deserves a good bonus, and I’d really like to come sit down and eat inside when i have the opportunity to take off work. Great pricing for serving proportion by the way, really heavy for 13.

Edit)) Got the hibachi steak with rice today on the 28th of August 2023. It’s really fantastic and I recommend you try it, oh it also comes with a cup of this white sauce, Its also very very good. Really great restaurant, you should give them a shot or two.
