I've never been there b4 and i looked up hardware store near me and this place came up(along with others). Since I've never gone there i don't like talking chance but i looked them up and it looks pretty cool . If i were to describe it in a nutshell it's like tsc. (Tractor supply) Looks are good, big store, lots of goodies to check out., a fellow can spend some time here if u know what i mean. So I went in browsed around spent some time with the gloves and the clothes and the jackets and the shirts as winter is approaching and they had some pretty good sales so I ended up buying a pair of gloves and some overalls that you would put over your clothes to work on a tractor or a truck or whatever and not get dirty by Carhartt and they had them on sale. So I jumped on it very good price really nice looking product. The store was clean big and just amazing to browse through with all the stuff. I liked the place and I would return however, the prices are a bit pricey. If I were to choose between the two tractor supply and this one I'd say they're about the same. So if you're just going in there to buy something right off the shelf you're going to pay a price if you look it up and wait for it to go on sale you probably get yourself pretty good deal that's pretty much what I think. But the quality of everything seem to be pretty good. I bought like I said this overalls with the shoulder straps you just put them right over your pants and snap them up or zip them up either way the legs easy to get into easy to get out and oh by the way the people there helped me out fantastically I literally got there to get these zip ties about I don't know 30 minutes before they close, and they announced that they were closing everybody get your shit and get out. So I was right in the midst of choosing gloves and these overalls and they came over and help me out man I mean like and even a customer very friendly so I'd recommend you guys going there and if you need help don't be afraid to ask...
Read moreGreat! I didn't make a purchase of a Stanley cooler that I should have purchased a week ago at their store in Minot. When I returned last Friday, not only was that small cooler gone, but the shelves that were stocked with Stanley lunch boxes and thermas/vacuum boxes and coolers were pretty bare. Since I knew that I had to travel to Jamestown for a medical appointmen, I thought that I would stop at Home of Economy and check to see if they had the Stanley cooler in stock that I was interested in. They did! Guess I would say that it made my day!
While there, I checked to see if I could get several pairs of jeans that I specifically like as they are fairly comfortable, but no luck. Like many businesses, it appears that they are also having a hard time receiving ordered goods still because of the unnecessary shutdown of the entire U.S. economy.
But yes, it still was a great day! Especially when this business has exceptional employees that cater to it's customers. I really do...
Read morePurchased a brand new fimco UTV sprayer from here and it leaks in three spots so bad that I couldn't use it. I took a video to the store to show them and they directed me to Fimco. I Asked to exchange it since it was brand new and never had chemical because I tested it with plain water before spraying to adjust the nozzle settings if needed. I run a large company in town and am very patient with issues as I know how hard customers can be sometimes. Some customer service training for employees is needed at this location.
Edit: I went back in and thought maybe I just had the wrong person. I got a new person, Robert I think was his name, who looked at the video and showed me how to fix it. Unfortunately they carry none of the Fimco parts so I have to order them online. Doesn’t make much sense to me to sell a product and not sell common...
