Beyond expectations. Excellent, polite, helpful staff. Snack store in lobby. Computer desk with printer. Do your own laundry and the nice laundry room and the machines operate on quarters. This is a four-story hotel and feels brand new. My room on the third floor had a complete kitchen. Pool size refrigerator, two burner electric stove with venta hood and huge microwave. Very nice and very large bathroom with tub and shower. Beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. Luxurious bed and bedding. Four huge pillows each pillow a different weight. Recliner and small dining room table with two chairs. Flat screen TV with cable TV channels. Your nightstand and by your bed has a lamp and a clock and charging ports for your mobile devices. Outside. There is plenty of In-N-Out parking. It is very well lit. There is up close handicap parking and the entrance has electric doors that senses your presence. There are hotel luggage buggies to help with bringing in your suitcases and the back of the hotel. There is an area for picnic and barbecue with a barbecue pit. This Is a nice hotel and it was well thought out. I spent one month and two weeks here. I would locked to express my appreciation to the staff. There was one day when a guest created a scene and the staff professionally handle the situation. I retired from the Department of Justice and I have had training every 6 months and it's called verbal judo. It teaches you how to handle and deescalate. I'm not sure if employees here are given this class but it sure seemed as if they were. I watched this scene to its conclusion. In my opinion, the guest deliberately tried to create a scene and the staff constantly deescalated. It was impressive to watch. The guest Tried very hard to manipulate the scene and failed. This was a very exemplary experience. I have paid a lot of money to stay at New York's Waldorf, Astoria and other fine establishments across the United States and Hawaii and Alaska, though this hotel is not the Waldorf Astoria, it had the same class of employees. They take...
Read moreWe had one of the worst experiences ever dealing with this hotel here this past weekend. We drove 6+ hours from Canada for a friends wedding and had chosen this hotel because it was close to shopping areas. We tried to check in only to be told that the âinternet was downâ therefore we could not check in. It wasnât a big deal so we went to eat and came back around 6pm... then we were told that the âwifi wasnât workingâ so we still couldnât check in. We were not impressed after 6 hours of driving and then waiting around for 4 more hours for our room to be ready. At this point we were exhausted and fed up with how the hotel handled this. No offer to hold our bags in a room, after carrying them in and out from our car multiple times. Iâve stayed other places where they would offer a free meal at a nearby restaurant- we were given nothing and told nothing. The hotel could have also contacted us ahead of time to let us know what was going on so we didnât keep showing up only to be turned away. So I tried to find another hotel (mind you it is July 4th weekend and EVERYTHING was booked) but I managed to find literally one of the last rooms available in the area. It ended up costing me double what I would have paid at this hotel. When we phoned my place hotel to cancel our room we were then asked âdid you receive a room key?â WHY would we cancel our room if we had a room key and access to it???? Bad communication, unprofessional. It really felt like they didnât care about getting us into our room at all. I would never stay at this chain of hotels again after this weekend. I understand that technology doesnât always work the way we want it to- but if we had the option to get a key and have a rest in our room why didnât it get offered to us when we were at...
Read moreNot sure where to start. I had reserved a mobility handicap room and when I got there they gave me a hearing accessible room. Meaning my son's wheelchair could not fit in bathroom and he couldn't reach sinks. I went and talked to front desk and they said they were booked and I could check out tomorrow at 11 and back in at 3 for a different room but only 1 bed. When my reservation was for 2 beds and mobility room with a confirmation. I asked again next day same thing. We ended up cutting our vacation short because of the extra stress this caused our family not having the mobility we needed. When I contacted them after I got home the manager said that it was first he was hearing of the problem and it must be because I said first floor preference in my profile and they accomodated that and not the fact I reserved a handicap mobility room and moved me out of it. He said he would train his staff better and if he would have known I could have maybe moved to a different hotel. So I contacted corporate as I found his lack of fixing the problem okay and they said each hotel is independently owned but she would contact owner to make it right. The other day I finally get an update via email of a new invoice showing a $25 credit per night I stayed. That is Not making it right. They changed my reservation completely without asking me and we HAD mobility needs!! I would not recommend this...
