Hobby Lobby — Local services in Kalispell

Please check your packages for the required items. I bought a handprint kit set their months ago and hopes to use it after my daughter was born.I just open the package and it's supposed to have paint & clay in there no paints and the clay was hard as a rock.The clay had clearly been opened with the original packaging left in the box and the clay in a ziplock bag. I'm totally bummed I live an hour away from the store and with the virus going around will not be traveling there anytime soon. In my area they do not sell items like this that is why I purchased it here. I could have made do without the paint but the clay is one of the main ingredients to make this project work. I did contact the manager and he was very polite and apologetic but at this point there is nothing they can do unless I return the package. Which won't be happening anytime soon due to the virus. I believe that the employees should check the packages and make sure when something is returned that it has all the items that are required. Who doesn't love Hobby Lobby ? We go and usually find things we didn't even know we needed and they have a vast selection of kid friendly art as well. This location in particular has undergone a negative change in recent months- it may be due to covid or new management but the staff in there now is not what you'd expect at a hobby lobby. My daughter was almost hit in the head on two separate occasions from staff carrying things and when I'd say oh excuse us the staff didn't even acknowledge we were standing there. On a positive note at least we know they are working hard to keep the place stocked even if it makes the customer service suffers. 🙃 Thr reason we still give it 4 stars is like I mentioned you can still get the same goods you'd expect to find in other locations and when it first opened the customer service was also what you'd expect at other locations. Pretty nice craft store, lots of variety, good selection, usually well stocked. I find that it can at times be a tad bit more than other places but if you've got a coupon, who cares? Also has home decor and some furniture. You can get just about everything for sewing- fabric as well as batting for quilting, framing services, yarn, faux flowers and materials for floral arrangements, painting supplies for watercolors, acrylic and oil, stain glass materials, wood crafts, paper crafts, copic markers, markers, paper, pens, calligraphy pens, pencils!!!!! I am 100% positive that I cannot name everything in that store because not only is it IMPOSSIBLE (it's a reaaalllly a big store) but also because I'm sure nobody has read this far...
