Okay so...
I no longer even like the chocolate ice cream anymore, haven't for awhile now, it tastes really off, like the chocolate has been way too fermented and the milk went a little bad, and it's had that rancid like oil taste for over two years consistently.
I really just want the black licorice ice cream again, and have it actually be advertised online when in stock, and on the board in a readable text size, not just in the window corner of the side of the building, a corner I physically can not see at all when I go in, because I apparently missed my chance by days after waiting 3 years. It honestly makes me so sad and disappointed that I want to cry.
I wish you also had more dairy free options, like at least 2 real ones, for my friends and family instead of only 1, 1 that's only usually a sorbet that usually has citrus that they also can't have anyway. It would also be nice if you were more organized? Like if you listed if they were dairy free or not online too, maybe list the ingredients online so people/customers can just check for allergens themselves? I don't know why you don't because it's a huge disappointment going in to see what we can get and it turning out we can't get anything at all and instead wasted a whole trip and gas by going into town for literally nothing. We would call but the chance they have time to answer the phone is nil which is fair, (we've never had the luck of them answering).
Sadly I don't think I'm coming here anymore at all? It just isn't worth it anymore, I and my friends either end up being allergic to what we get or they have nothing at all we like anyway. Or in the past when they do get something we like and it seems like it's going to be a permanent addition to the menu, (the popsicles) it gets changed to something that we then can't have or is removed entirely leaving no...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here for years, and LOVE the ice cream!!! That being said, this review is for this location, which has always been super awkward especially when it gets busy. I was excited to see construction going on inside, thinking maybe they’d address the flow of customers. Never did I expect to bring my tiny stroller in and not be able to fit in line😅😅😅 they widened the area for the workers (which is was small but I never thought they looked similar crammed, similar to a drive thru coffee shop…) now it’s uncomfy to be a customer in line, definitely don’t bring a stroller! A bit baffled by the new set up, you think with the entire room next door they could figure out a better system. Will still support their delicious ice cream but may try different locations at the peak times. Also— the roof is closed, stairs have been taken down. It was super sketchy, stairs would wobble when walking. All it would take is a legit carpenter to build some sturdy steps and fix it up there as it’s a great spot to bring out of town family + friends to watch the Friday night drive. Hope they see the jam up this season and figure out something better for...
Read moreI took my mother here for her first taste of the ice cream. I had a face covering according to the recommendations but my mother who is older and has a medical condition did not. There were two other individuals inside who did have masks and we were able to social distance based on the amount of people inside. Immediately entering she was told to put a mask on which I replied she has a medical condition. The staff member pointed to the window in the back and said she could read the menu through the window (it was 95 degrees outside and she is visually impaired). . . . I know these are strange times, but the unwillingness this store owner has to work with their patrons who cannot wear a face covering (even though we could be 6 feet away from the other patrons) and cause them to feel humiliated (“read our menu through the window outside”) is an interesting observation, especially when other store owners have been understanding and welcoming. And to top it off, she got a vanilla and I had the griz tracks and they both were gross we didn’t finish either....
