Circo Circo! — Restaurant in Kent

Wow! The portions!

I've always been a little skeptical about family businesses and their portion sizes, and usually order a larger size, but I was able to feed a second person with what I got! This establishment was clean, and the host who took our order was friendly and very helpful, as I am not as experienced with Mexican Cuisine. I loved my food, and the salsa was full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and was full of flavor. The prices, at first seemed a bit steep on paper, but looking at the portions, are definitely reasonable.

I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in the area.

Edit: As I grown more experienced with Mexican Cuisine, I'm stuck with a cyclical routine of using Circo Circo as my palette cleanser. Places in the area doesn't do it like this. The Quality, Portions, Customer Service, and Cleanliness have just wowed me in comparisons to other Mexican/Hispanic places. I've bumped my star rating from a 4 to a 5, and for good reason. The food is always good but after today I probably won't be back. I ordered online and typed in some special instructions for a very picky eater I was ordering for. Nothing crazy, just asked for all veggies to be left off the quesadilla. The manager of all people started making fun of what I typed in and saying that I should have just put plain. He wasn't talking to me though. He was talking about me, right in front of me, not realizing I understand Spanish. I was honestly too shocked to say anything right then but I did mention to the wonderful lady that handed me my food that I will put plain next time like her manager would like. She really was so nice, and I'm sorry if the situation made her uncomfortable. She did tell the manager exactly what I meant by the instructions during their exchange. Make her the manager...

Great food, family atmosphere. They give huge portions of food, so come hungry and ready for a doggy bag. My personal favorite is the shrimp enchilada. Savory, buttery, with a mild green chili sauce, very cheesy. It seduces you with its appearance, then satisfies you with flavor, and challenges you with its portion size. This restaurant also has great strong drinks. I get the fuzzy navel, however all their drinks look great. Friendly attentive staff. Although you can come for date night, you will most likely be surrounded by families with children. I've been going here for years and followed them from Kent /Des Moines to their now location in the Fred Myer shopping strip....
