Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Maingate Central — Hotel in Kissimmee

(BTW i HAVE to give at least one star to post when this location deserves negative stars.) Part II. Of Belky's complete lack of professionalism and compentancy to handle customer service situations when shes the claim she reports to no one. Unreal. ATTN: Corporate for Econologe because the absolutely unbelievably rude manager "Belky" if that's even her name also after countless time of me asking for her manager she said she reports to no one. And hung up on me twice when I called after I walked out on my own with an extremely awful complaint that did get resolved. So belky, this top manager who reports to no one, instead of handling the situation appropriately and kindly she wanted to waste tax payers dollars and a Police officer's time to do her job. She left out the part on the phone that I had permission from HER employee to stay until 1 and never told me to call the front desk to confirm which is poor communication on the MANAGERS part. But I didnt want to bother a police officer, so I told Belky to cancel the call and I need her Managers name. She still claimed to own the place and report to no one. So i said okay. I walked out and called the front desk to ask who Belky reports to and both Belly and her 26 yr old employee who claimed to have 3 jobs (idk her name so just gave details of her word) BOTH not only refused but hung up on me. And if Belky wants to blacklist me from this Drug infested, run down hotel, who clearly doesnt care about their business, go ahead. I will never give another penny to this business. Because as a previous manager I wouldnt want anyone to go through this frustration. So i went to talk to the cleaning employee who lied to Belky on the phone and told her she never told me that, i asked her why did she lie when i came to her, was so grateful for her kindness, and tipped her. And ALLL the sudden she tells me she NEVER gave me permission to stay (so im crazy and imagined this). I calmly said maam you just cost me $20 so in the future tell the customer to be sure to call since Belky said you dont have the authority to approve people to stay only Belky can. The cleaning lady started yelling at me to leave not letting me finish my sentence when I was calmly telling her I just dont want anyone else to go through this in the future since communication is key. so even though I didn't get back my $20 Since Belky wouldve if i just KNEW TO CALL knows her it was an innocent mistake, she instead would rather be with petty. I am so embarrassed for her. As a manager of a business, why drag this out so diagustingly and unnecessarily, and train her employees to use better communication, I explained now that I know for next time since someone TOLD me even though i got permission from Belky's employee, the employee starts screaming at me to leave, she pushed me out of the door, and i fell on the railing. I cannot believe this treatmemt. But if Belky is the one training them then it makes sense because everyone is as rude as she is. I will be calling corporate and reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully the least this will accomplish is finding out who Belky reports to so they can send her and the rest of the staff to some training courses on how to treat people fairly and kindly. I thought that I never would say this, but alway’s there is a first time: This is the WORST hotel I ever have been!. The room’s tobacco smell was the first sign that raised the flag. Then when we check the bathroom, the shower, was when we said “oh my…” My brother was at the same time because we were for a music performance and he was to visit the Universal islands of Adventure with my little daughter. He rented an apartment called Blue Tree Resort, so we decide to stay two of the four days because the impression if this Econolodge. My brother finished the satu took vare of my daughter and left to Delray Beach while we stayed in Orlando to go next day to Gainesville for the show. Then regrettably we get to that room, I love to be bare-feet all time… but we took the precaution to purchase one Clorox Bathroom disinfectant and cleaner plus a Lysol spray… When we took out the blankets there was a little roach in one of the two beds, my wife started to spray with Lysol all the beds! Then I went to the shower and sprayed the Clorox all inclusive the shower curtain. And we decided to go to sleep with the chlorine smell but pretty sure will be disinfected. Morning! When I went to take a shower my bare feet were so dirty that I made black the shower’s floor, and we thought to go to Walmart to buy cheap sandals in order to walk inside the room, anyway we got out to take the road to Gainesville but I stop by the office telling the lady to send someone to clean the soiled floor because not only dirty, there were cereal, insects, that we inly noticed when was daylight. We came back around 2 am and the room odor to a dirty mop called our attention, before go to bed my wife killed two more roaches and she decided to sleep with all the clothes that we were because she did not trust the cleanliness of the blankets and sheets. With only 4 hours that we slept, ai opened my eyes and decided to leave that horrible hotel, but it was only that was the fruit on top… when we went to the office to return the keys, the lady told us the deposit was on hold until they check nothing was damaged in the room, and also make sure we did not smoked inside. We both don’t drink and smoke but we regrettably accepted. It has been since Feb 22, 2022 and we still not received back the deposit… Conclusion, thank God our little girl (5 years old)...

Location was good and the lady at the front desk was sweet. Also, I met a nice girl staying here and enjoyed a conversation. Unfortunately, the hotel is not clean. I got in a hurry to book because I had a headache and wanted to go to the room. I feel like it was a bait and switch because online it said a certain price and I paid that. Once I got to the hotel, I had to pay $14 more and unfortunately that was the only reason I was booking here is to save money since I paid a lot more for a hotel the night before. But once I paid the $14 at check in, then the total price was equal to what I could have booked at another hotel that is nearby and clean. I should have just stuck to the hotels that I already know are good in this area. I was trying to venture out and although the people I met at the front desk and hotel were nice, the actual hotel needs renovation. I would say, just renovate the bathrooms and clean the sticky floors. The floors are some kind of laminate looking wood and they just need to be cleaned. But the bathroom needs renovation!! I like a clean bathroom and this wasn't it. I wish you could get your money back when you book online and it wasn't such a hassle, but once I booked, I was stuck with it for the night. I could have probably fought it, but I already know it's kinda a nightmare to do so because it says non-refundable when you book online. They will do it. But you have to go through a huge hassle. So, I just sucked it up for the night. The beds were clean. It was mainly the floors and bathroom. Also, I booked because it says free breakfast and when I got there it was off brand cereals, donuts, and waffles. So, basically a huge sugar fest. No eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, or oatmeal. And I would have done just cereal, but when I saw it was off brand, I decided to just get extra sleep. Breakfast is from 6:30 to 8:30 which isn't very long. Another hotel I stayed at recently was 6:30 to 9:30 during the week and until 10:30 on the weekend. So, yeah. When you have something to compare to, this hotel just...
