I ordered an item for pickup. When it was ready for me before I decided to leave I went online to their website to see if the item I need was in stock. The website said it was. When I arrived I decided to go and find the package of batteries that I needed first before I go and pick up my order. I spent about 15 minutes wandering throughout the store without being able to locate my item. I asked a few employees they told me where they each believed that I might find what I was looking for. I was still unsuccessful so I went online and found the isle it would be stocked at. I asked a few more employees eventually I had gone to each of the three locations where they have batteries on their shelf twice. Each time I had an interaction with an employee I showed them the listing for the item that shows it is available. Every single person that helped me looked at me and acted if I were stupid. With having this experience I was able to get the idea to order this item for pickup since I’m already here to pick up an order. When I arrived at the support desk I was able to pick up my first order. After that I asked the lady if she could help me because I have been running around the store interacting with employees who were acting like I was stupid for insisting that the product is available because why would it be online listed as in stock if it wasn’t. The lady at the desk seemed appalled that I placed an order for pickup and was expecting to be able to get my order without waiting the 2 hour processing time, as if my time is invaluable and it’s my fault because I’m to stupid to find the product on the shelf. Long story short they don’t even have the item so not only did I spent my evening being disrespected for participating as a consumer I was able to place an order for something they don’t even have while they had no problem taking my money for services that cannot be rendered. Now I have to wait 2-3 business days for a refund. All because a multibillion dollar corporation can’t maintain an accurate...
Read moreUpdate: place has gotten even worse. As other reviews say their order pick-up is a joke and shouldn’t be offered. There’s one nice lady who works there, then a bunch of unhelpful snooty weird young people who seem to hate working there and hate the customers. They also don’t know how to bag. They put chemicals in with food! Things leak. Have had to return things because of this. Get it together already.
Tonight was mine and my 4 year old daughters “night time party.” She was really excited about going to Target. Had to go to customer service, where there were 3 young employees just standing around talking. Did our shopping, got a bunch of stuff. For whatever reason they NEVER have oxi clean stain remover spray in stock. Went to the front to checkout and there was only one light on. (It was barely 9pm). Start walking up to that register and the guy from self checkout stops me and says “she’s actually closed.” So I had to go to the self checkout with a cart full of stuff, with my 4 year old, and scan and bag everything myself. That was stressful and annoying. Meanwhile the cashier stood at the register that was supposedly closed, talking to self checkout guy and another girl. She also rang up 2 separate people, didn’t tell them she was closed. So it leaves me to wonder why I was told she was closed and forced to go to self checkout while she continued to ring up other people. Pretty rude and terrible customer service. Makes me not want to go there again. Upon leaving I noticed the same 3 employees just standing around talking at customer service. Pretty lame Target experience for a night out with...
Read moreYou should give wtv security/asset protection that was guarding the door at around 2:30 today a huge raise. He literally only cares about target and nothing else. I had a creepy guy in a truck following me around in the parking lot and I kept changing directions and he would continue to follow me, I had a couple notice and yell out to me to get away from the truck. I got up to the sidewalk leading towards the entrance of target and he followed me there and sat and waited immediately outside the target entrance, but with his truck hidden so you couldn’t see he was there until you walked outside. I ran into the exit side to get away from him and waved to your employee and told him what happened and pointed to the truck and just said I’m gonna wait here while my Uber is on its way, the only words he said were “do you have any business here?” And “get out of the way of customers”. GREAT GUY! (To clarify i wasn’t in the way I was off to the side and not in between the alarm detectors you have to go through to get out the exit)
Moral of the story, prior to this I would spend atleast 1,500 at this store a month if not more. Now that I know I’m not safe as a woman in their store or parking lot, and that the employees also do not care about the safety of customers in their store or parking lot, I’m not going to be able to shop there anymore. Women be safe out there, the men...
