I was recently invited to stay at a cottage for bike week. I had never been to bike week before, or these cottages. Bike week is crazy, lots of people and lots of alcohol. With that said, the cottages are walking distance from the bike week festivities. The cottages themselves are the perfect distance where it's easy to walk, but you can't hear any of the craziness other than bikes during the day. The views from the cottages are amazing, overlooking a large lake and lots of greenery. The cottages we stayed in had a screened in porch, so we weren't getting attacked by mosquitoes at night. Lots of spiders all around the top of the screen! Plenty of room inside the cabin for 3 couples. There is a dock with chairs and easy access to walk into the water, but also access to tie a boat or jet ski to the dock. Small sand area for kids, not that I would recommend bringing them to bike week, but it's there. Would love to go back and maybe see what else the area has to offer besides the craziness...
