Weirs Public Beach in Laconia, New Hampshire, is a hidden gem that offers a delightful blend of natural beauty and convenient amenities. The sandy shore is pristine, providing a perfect spot for families, couples, and solo visitors to relax and soak up the sun. The beach's gentle slope into the crystal-clear waters of Lake Winnipesaukee makes it ideal for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. One of the highlights of Weirs Public Beach is the breathtaking views of Lake Winnipesaukee. These vistas are truly outstanding, showcasing the lake's serene waters and the surrounding picturesque landscape. Whether you're lounging on the beach or taking a dip, the scenery is sure to enhance your experience. The location is also incredibly convenient. Being close to the boardwalk means you can easily stroll over to grab a snack or enjoy a leisurely lunch. The boardwalk adds a vibrant touch to the area, offering a variety of dining and entertainment options. Plus, the ample nearby parking is a huge plus, making your visit hassle-free. Beautiful lake! White sandy beaches and plenty of picnic tables with small playground. Clear water as well. A stunning view across the lake as you can see the view of mountains. We went on the month of April, so the facility is not open. The restroom and changing rooms are open starting in June. Around Weirs Beach you will find lots of old theme shops, amusements and restaurants. Also plenty of parking around. They also Mt. Washington boat open on summer time. Not far from Weirs Beach there is large arcade area, called Fun Spot, that claim to be the biggest arcade in the world. It is a great place to go to bring kids after a nice time on the beach. There is also a go kart area not far from the beach, located right across the arcade place.

Visited for bike week, parked tight to tail of another bike in center row and came back to no bike! Had been towed for being 8" over the line on the road even though there were no signs informing of such anywhere and 50% of bikes where similar as in pic! Walked to towing company to find out it was a $200us/$280cnd towing charge(cash only!) To get my bike out plus $25 parking ticket, big scam!!! Do not hang over the line in the center section or you too may be selected in the pay the bad guys lottery!!!! Great way to welcome visitors to Laconia, the ugly memory I won't forget, shame on you. If your going to enforce such a thing at least put signs up and have workers assist with that volume of traffic idiots!!!

Weirs beach parking lot experience on August 14, 2024 with parking lot attendant was horrendous. My best friend, my daughter and myself arrived around 12:30pm and the parking lot was full. While driving around the parking lot we saw people going to their cars to leave for the day and was waiting for a parking spot. As we were waiting the parking lot attendant Sri e over to us and said we needed to leave the lot was full, I proceeded to explain we were waiting for a parking spot and he responded in a unprofessional response are you sure they are leaving??!! I said yes he then said LEAVE!!! We drove up and down the street above the beach and went back to see if any spots were open. When we got back to the parking lot again people were leaving again and the parking lot attendant saw me again and was pointing in his car for me to leave. I continued to drive around the circle as he continued to point me out of the parking lot. my friend then was gesturing we are going around the circle till someone was out of their spot. He then drove over in a hurry and cut my car off in the parking lot and said to me in a stern voice… I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE NOW LEAVE!!! I told him I was waiting for a spot as I drive around there is no crime in that. He then said my friend flipped him off and we needed to get out. My friend did not flip him off which we tried to explain we were gesturing going around the circle till a spot was clear to park. As the man was yelling at us to leave my friend asked him why can’t you be nice he then said if you don’t leave I am going to call the police. I told him to call the police and this was ridiculous, I did nothing wrong. He then acted like he was calling the police and never did and I wasn’t about to sit Ron the parking lot and deal with any more of his crap of attitude so I told him where to go. I just wanted to have a nice day with my daughter and best friend and he ruined it. This situation escalated to a level that did not have to happen and I am so very disappointed for being disrespected and feeling targeted. I hope nobody else ever has to experience this situation. I have been going to weirs beach for years and never once experienced anything like this and not to mention it was my friends first time there. Not a good experience. This old man on his high horse needs to be severely...
