Half Moon Pizza — Restaurant in Laconia

I would not even give this place one star. Today we sat there for 45 minutes with 5 hungry children waiting on a pizza that was not even being made. The girl took the pizza order and walked away. After waiting 45 minutes, I went to ask what was going on and how much longer and the girl blamed me! I was told "I should have reminded her" and "They forgot to make it". We were sitting right next to the counter and watched them throw around wet towels while the guy who seemed to be supervising the other workers was out smoking one cigarette after another. The music that was being played was so inappropriate! I like a lot of music but if its yelling swears I do not let my children hear stuff like that! The owner came in and changed the music and the children and I heard them bad mouthing him, right in front of us! So disappointed with the service and disrespect! I will never ever come back or recommend...

EDIT: I originally gave them 5 stars. However, the yesterday of ky family and I went back after our train ride and ordered a whole pie. The older man making the pizza was rude and seemed to have aggression towards the person taking the orders. He kind of yelled at me about not knowing my number when the cashier didn’t give me a receipt. Didn’t make sense. However, pizza was good.

My family and I were taking a scenic train tour and this pizza place was across the street. We were a bit early and decided to have a couple slices of pizza. The pizza looked very fresh. Though a little pricey ($5 a slice), the pizza was perfectly crispy and delicious. I see reviews of people complaining about the price, but this is a very obvious tourist area, and I am happy to pay a little more for a place that was open with actually good food. Visited for the first ever this week and we were craving whole belly fried clams. We ordered, took a little long to receive our order but hey, I'll wait a bit of its hot and fresh no problem. However, although hot, it was just a clump of clams on top of an obnoxious amount of fries. The top half of the clams were ok but the ones underneath were pure mush/undercooked. Not to mention it was almost $50 for that plate! We had been on the road for hours before getting there so we just wanted to call it and head back to the hotel.
