Kalahari Sands Building — Hotel in Lake Delton

Bed bugs at both hotels now, sands and main. Be warned. They dont staff sands hotel side front desk overnight. Shuttle is limited. Arcade closes before amc last movie gets out and locks hallway back to hotel.

Good memories, been going for 22 years. The rooms at there stands side are much nicer, probably newer too. it was quieter more insulated. couldn't hear people in the hallways passing by. the rooms had more space, bigger bathtubs, nicer closets, large living room. its worth the extra walk through the skyway. Sands also has a front desk so you dont need to check in at the main hotel. If you get a lodge or combo hut/lodge, the lodge part has jets in the bathtub. only fits 1 person , maybe 2 squished. but its deep and wide and nice for 1 person to enjoy. your lodge has a full kitchen with DISHWASHER. highly recomended if you can afford it. love the bath tub the most, it fits your whole body at one time under water. even for...

A bit far from the attractions with poor and unsafe (parking lot) access, specially with kid, unless you want to walk a long distance thought the indoors. Parking is hard to come by next to the buildings. Room was generally clean, but very basic and dated. No toiletries and don’t expect them to make your bed or clean if you’re staying multiple days. Bed is too soft and bathroom is small and dingy. They only have water in the frigobar and they sell them for $5 each. Bedroom has cable tv, a microwave, a frigobar, a table and two chairs, hair drier, an iron, a large old bathtub, a small porch with two chairs, a drawer, a closet, beds and bedside tables. Don’t forget to bring your own toiletries, WATER, slippers, charger and anything else you deem necessary.

If you’re not spending much time in it, it’s ok. Wouldn’t stay in it...

Sands is a great building to stay in. The rooms are nice, and it seems like more of the families stay on this side of the resort. There are kitchen suites available if you have a larger family and want to cook. The only downside I see about staying in the sands building is that it is the farthest from the water park, dinning, and arcade. Roughly a 10 minute walk...
