Paid almost 400$ for 1 day so you expect the best right? Wrong. Day 1! on arrival I park in the handicap spot just to step outside, slip and hurt myself and bust my phone screen (they didnt salt the handicap spaces and it was iced over). You would think it's over but no lol. For some reason my reservation was messed up and not showing the birthday that was added on over a month ago. I wait in a very long line to get checked in. I'm told at checkout to talk to another employee with a pink coat at another desk. Ok I stand in front of her and she completely ignores me lol gets a personal phone call and decided that was more important lol oh man and I'm standing there ready to spend 200$-300$ on a birthday package for my son. She then looks at me as she continues on with her personal -non urgent call I'm literally right in front of her waiting I can hear her whole conversation. Another employee who barely speaks good English passes by and she waves him down to me while she continues her call. He asked me how can he help me? I inform him I'm trying to get a birthday package for my son and was told to come here. He walks over to the check in desk , comes back to tell me yes she would help you but she's on a call and if not you can get in line for check in they can help you. At this point my leg is hurting from the fall and I'm extremely upset with what he just said lol that line I pointed 👉 I just came from there and now you want me to stand In that line again? after I was told to come to this lady who believes her personal call is more important... 😑 no Thank you. I appreciate your help but never mind. I do not need this birthday package that bad anymore. You would think it's over right lol wrong again my friends. I paid $200 for a "VIP" couch set up lol 😆 😅 😂 so I order mix drinks and food. Well what a fking place they decided to put this under. It's under the ramp for the slides. Swimmer are walking across in groups and now I have disgusting water from the moldy ramp falling in my drink and food. Drinks $70 they are $35 a piece. Food 85$ all waste now. Also you can't move the umbrella it will tip over there is no way of blocking the water from falling in your food. Yummy pee ans foot fungus anyone? This by far has been the most disappointing place I have ever been to and yet spend a lot of money. Who ever runs this place should be a shame this was disappointing!

We’ve been here with extended family at one of the Lake Delton villas for the better part of a week. Villa Pros: - Private (we had both sides of one free-standing villa) - Spacious (huge kitchen, living spaces, hallways, vaulted ceilings) - Outdoor furnishing (small charcoal grill, dining table + chairs) - Accommodates large groups (ours was up to 18 people; there was one next to ours that looks like it fits even more) - Plenty of bathrooms + bedrooms - Good bones (no creaky steps or floors; thick walls so we could stay up while others slept) - Full kitchen so we could cook our own meals Villa Cons: - NOT stocked like an Airbnb. Kalahari needs to decide if they wanna furnish it fully or not. There was just a handful of things in the kitchen, and unfortunately, not things we needed. There is a small amount of plates, NO BOWLS, and only frying pans. No pots, super dull knives, no spices, etc. If you stay in a villa and want to cook your own meals, pack the food AND everything you’ll need to prepare it. - Finished poorly. Overall the villa was beautiful, but it doesn’t take much of a closer look to see crooked sconces, door plates, etc. None of these issues were actual issues, but poor workmanship doesn’t go unnoticed. Waterpark Pros: - Lots to do for the entire family both inside and outside. Our new swimmers had just as much fun as our experienced swimmers. - Plenty of individual and partner rides. This made it possible (and fun!) for us to introduce and experience water slides with our new swimmers. - Huge indoor waterpark assortment. While we came in the summer, I can see this place being perfect for winter, too. - Crazy courageous outdoor water slides. There’s a lot even for the thrill seeker. - Low-key lap pool. When tired we hung out here and just swam. It’s huge and we didn’t have an issue with finding our own area to stay in. Waterpark Cons: - Inconsistent tube provision. On some tube slides they have a machine that brings tubes up and on others they don’t. This was confusing because we didn’t know when to grab a tube or leave it before climbing the stairs. - Must love waterslides. There isn’t a lot else here. This was our first time in Wisconsin Dells and we learned that while we love the water, we’re not water slide lovers. We found a different spot in the area that we absolutely loved.

Spoiler Alert not worth your money. Too many small things bring the rating down quickly.

Check in was terrible, they seem to over look add on packages and the crowded and long lines where stress inducing. They made us wait for a room despite paying extra for early check in and made it seem as if we it was a inconvenience for them to have to make things right. Package add ons and extras not worth the “hassle” as the the desk staff make things not worth it. Food in the resort is over priced slow service and food that’s just not good. We ate at the brew pub and food was not worth it. Best bet go off site to anywhere else. let talk coffee, same thing with the coffee cafe long lines during peak morning hours with 1 employee making coffee drinks and food. best bet go offsite to DD down the street. let’s talk the elephant in the room… the indoor water park. Looks like an amazing place on paper and in pictures yet you pay an arm and a leg…. Meanwhile Half the pools where NEVER open, half the rides are on schedules. Those schedules are not posted online or in the front of the water park entrance or anywhere other than after you pay, and get into the park and go by that ride and finally see on a small chalk board sign by that ride that it will only be open for less than 2 hrs a day.The long lines for sliders and the Lazy River not open and not being able to see when the best slides where open ahead of time really lead to wasting time waiting for slides to open and not being able to do everything bc of this over sight by the owners . Not worth the money… this place had potential, but lack luster staff and water park being closed with no answer why or when it would open just wasn’t worth the massive expense of money spent for a party of 5.

Tom foolery’s overpriced wrist bands and and confusing system where you don’t get to do as much as you are lead on to believe when you check in or make reservations. Yes they have so many things on site to do. Problems is that staff and quality of those attractions isn’t good. Over worked and underpaid staff seems likely to blame paired with typical high priced low reward arcade games and they are making a ton of money off us. Just not worth the price. Spring break 2022 3 teens and 2 adults. But hey what’s a couple thousand dollars for a 3 night stay at a resort where half the attractions are closed or over hyped online and in pictures… and food service is terrible in the restaurants ?. it’s your money… we won’t be returning not worth the cost headaches or troubles.Look else where as they are perfectly fine taking your money and just cramming as many people thru here as possible meanwhile giving the people as little as possible. 3 stars deduction for valve, honesty, service...

I’d like to give the resort zero stars but can’t. I’ve never been so frustrated with a vacation experience. My kids love the water park, so we try to come 2-3 times a year. The past three visits have had room issues.

The first trip with issues was comical. First the clocks didn’t work because they had timed out. Maintenance came and fixed them. And then fixed them again. Then we didn’t have hot water in either shower. Two maintenance workers and an engineer tried to fix it before telling us it was a “safety feature” to shower in tepid water. On that visit, an upgrade was available so I was able to pay to move to a different suite. Everyone was friendly and the kids loved the splurge on the larger suite, and it was in the main building. No problem. I didn’t even mind when I got 10+ notifications of attempted charges on my credit card at the pool bar while we were eating Culver’s in our room- they were all declined so no harm was done.

Last time we came, I don’t know what happened to the room we booked, but when it wasn’t available we were moved to a larger suite in the same building.

Tonight we pre-registered in the afternoon before checking in, only to arrive to no booked room. “Maintenance issues” again. Instead of getting the room with a living area in the main building that I paid for, we’re in a smaller room down the road nowhere near the water park or arcade. When checking in, the attendant said the “good news” was he was “giving me” Tom Foolery passes. But, spoiler alert: I’d already paid for them when I booked the Tom Foolery package. Nice con he’s running. The manager then refused to even entertain the idea that I should- at the very least- not pay my booked rate for an inferior experience. She then said we could “schedule” moving to our booked room tomorrow but couldn’t say when- maybe some time after noon- and she couldn’t actually pre-arrange it (so, not actually on a schedule and will interrupt our plans for the day). Another man at the front desk said I’d have to call the reservation line “because I booked online”. Ok, I call the number and they put me on hold for 5 minutes before hanging up. Finally, I tried to buy dinner at the pool with a room charge and apparently none of our bands were properly set for charging privileges. Now my husband with mobility issues from a back injury is trekking to/from a room down the road from the actual resort rather than simply taking the elevator up to the centrally located room I booked.

I will no longer recommend Kalahari to anyone. A simple apology would have been sufficient to avoid this change...

Spent $1000 for 9 of us to go. The only good thing about this place was the lazy river and the swim up bar. 5 of the 9 people couldn't even go on the slides bc they have an unrealistic weight limit. They weigh every single person before they can go on any of the slides. No where on the website, at the ticket desk, front desk of the hotel, signs inside the pool area does it say anything about max weight. Instead the signs are at the top of 4 or 5 story stairs (that are super dangerous). What is the weight limit you may ask...250lbs. After hearing this from one of the 9 people that was in my group we asked a manager and he confirmed. After hearing this I started counting how many teens and adults would not be able to go on any of the slides and the number was well over 100 people. It would have been more if I had continued to count. This place is a joke! We would not have spent that kind of money if we had known. I'm trying to figure out how they can get away with this type of discrimination!

Update: Response from Kalahari... Sara, we apologize that this is the experience that you had in our waterpark, and we appreciate you reaching out with your feedback. Safety is always our number one priority, and all of our attractions have height, weight, and operational limits that are in accordance with state law and the manufacturer's recommendations. All of our safety information and ride polices can be found on our website under the "Parks & Passes" tab. For the convenience of our guests, we have also posted signage before you enter the stairways to all of our attractions, noting the requirements, prior to waiting in line. If you would like, I would be more than happy to connect you with our waterpark leadership team to discuss the safety policies on our attractions. If so, kindly send us a PM with a good contact phone number and email. Thank you again for providing your feedback, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

My repsonse: I left a review and I am informing you that your website for Wisconsin dells specific website does not have weight requirements. No I do not want to speak with the management team unless it's going to be for them to provide a full refund bc my group of 9 were not able to enjoy any of the attractions except for 2 of them. Attached is the video evidence of the website not offering the weight requirement.

The website does not in fact offer a weight...
