First the good: - variety of pizza to choose from, plus chicken and a salad bar (just like every other Pizza Ranch we've visited). - ability to custom order a pizza the way you like it at no extra charge (I got a skillet crust, Alfredo sauce, with pineapple, onion, green pepper, pepperoni, and sweet chili sauce drizzle 😋) - pleasant service - clean restrooms - ample parking - military discount for service members ❤️ - cheaper than the other competitor pizza buffet place in town (we started there before coming here) Neutral feedback: - English wasn't the primary language with any of the employees I engaged with, so I had to gently explain what a biscuit was multiple times before learning they didn't have any today. No biggie but it was funny trying to describe that 😊 Constructive feedback: - Pop is not included in the buffet at this location (though it is at all of the other locations we've visited throughout MN) - it must be owner discretion. It was something like $2.75 per person extra...(that adds up!) so no root beer floats for us this time 🙃 - Ice cream maker was broken (but in fairness, a repair guy showed up as we were leaving and said he would have it fixed in a couple of hours) - oh yeah, no biscuits! 😁

Let's talk about the Pizza Ranch for a moment. The salad bar was decent. The pizza was pretty good. The staff was helpful and courteous... but... the fried chicken was absolutely on point! I thought it was weird for a pizza buffet to have fried chicken... what I didn't realize was that this was a fried chicken joint with a pizza buffet lol! I'm telling you right now that the fried chicken rivaled most I've had at, what some would call, legendary establishments. Do NOT sleep on the fried chicken! With that said, it wasn't all perfect. We asked for a BBQ chicken pizza when we first arrived that never came. Toward the end of our meal, my wife requested a few slices of taco pizza - those too never came. Luckily for Pizza Ranch, the fried chicken was good enough for me to overlook these other issues. I would recommend Pizza Ranch to a friend without hesitation.

The desserts are better than the pizza, but as you said, edible. If you have a family to feed, it’s great because everyone finds something they like at the buffet for comparatively low $$$. If you are looking for NY style pizza, Need Pizza downtown is your best bet. That said, I genuinely like the dessert pies at Pizza Ranch. I typically pass on apple pie elsewhere, but at Pizza Ranch, especially when it is fresh and warm from the kitchen? Yum! Another good thing is they do group fundraisers where they give a portion of the proceeds. This is especially great if you have a kids group like Little League. Kids get their choice of unlimited pizza, and it helps fund the organization. Even better in the “off season”. A weeknight trip to Pizza Ranch can help fight cabin fever. And like almost everywhere in CR, parking is easy. Yup. There’s some good things in CR.

Myself and my friend made the mistake of going to Lake Delton pizza ranch where they would, if I could give a one star rating ! Almost the entire time we were there, the staff only Came to remove our plates from our table ONE TIME ! Sadly several times the very youthful teenage staff would be on the floor literally conversing with themselves hands IN pockets not doing any tasks. When we entered the building at lake Delton it was very slippery tile entrance which is unforgivable if non sure-footed patrons were to walk over it.... I hate to think of the possibility of injuries likely .

The equipment at Lake Delton was laughable at best ice cream machine broke down, no coffee or coffee cups, both the tea offerings and the soda fountain had a almost moldy flavor backdrop to the weak imbalanced flavorings …

Chicken was greasy😖 salad bar was at least 30% less than that of Reedsburg. For example the hard boiled eggs which should be discs and slices must have been ground up in a food processor all the same color yellow no evidence of hard boiled eggs just a rubble appearance which passed for hard boiled eggs. Even the napkin dispenser at our table was missing the usual advertisement on the outside of it…!

God help this restaurant if they plan on continuing in business.. perhaps they will be able to Buffalo or fool the large masses of Wisconsin...

Very rude hostess. They were busy & we were told it’d be 10-15 min. It was crowded, so we waited outside for a few minutes. We saw the people on the list before us head inside & we did too. I thought we were next, but she called a couple more names. The next group that was called came in quite awhile after us. I went up & nicely said I think we were missed. The hostess (I hope she wasn’t the manager) told me she’d called my name 3 times & asked if we went outside, Yes, for a few minutes, but we’d been standing up front inside for at least 10 min. I said ok, well can we go next? She rudely responded “I’ll have to see. It’ll be at least 5 minutes.” She calls 2 more groups while we stood there. I said “Really?” Again, “I called your name 3 times” & held up 3 fingers on each hand in my face. Obviously we left. We only went there because the kids wanted to. She did NOT call my name. Four of us were standing there. I don’t know if she read it wrong? Regardless, there was absolutely no reason for her to be so rude. She could have easily corrected the problem and apologized. We went downtown & had an amazing meal. There wasn’t a wait anywhere else. They are only busy because they are near the the resorts & hotels. Worst...
