Ill keep this short and sweet. Not sure if the things I experienced are things that just need to be worked out, or if they actual issues.
Pros: Cleanliness of the hotel and room was incredible. No foul smells or anything. Bathroom was very clean as well.
Breakfast, is offered. But it was not to my liking. That's a personal preference.
Price. We chose to stay at this hotel over the nearby resorts to save money. We then bought day passes for the nearby indoor waterpark. Price of the hotel and day passes worked for our budget, instead of choosing any of the other places to stay. To each their own. Everyone's situation could be different based on needs.
Location. Location is still in the middle of all the main attractions. And a short drive from downtown and other possible areas to dine or shop.
Cons: Room Size. The rooms are very small. We had a standard king room. My wife and I had enough room for our bags and a cooler. That was okay for us. Something to keep in consideration if you are traveling as a family.
Wifi/Streaming. Now this could have been an isolated incident. But we were unable to connect to the TV or stream. Not a big deal breaker as there was still "live tv" playing. Not a super deal breaker. Called front desk, front desk told us to call support line. Support line asked a few questions and took some information, then told us there wasn't anything they could do.
Housekeeping. Not really a con. But useful information. Now the housekeeping was great the day we had it. Everything well made and restocked. Only con was we were not informed of no services for overnight stays on the weekend. Maybe that's normal across the board, not sure. I've stayed in many hotels where they have different policies regarding housekeeping. Asked the front desk for more towels and they were happy to help.
No pool. Straightforward. No pool. No hot tub.
Overall. I think if some of these minor inconveniences were worked through it would be a great place to stay, save some money, and be close to the nearby...

I left a hoodie there. I tried to contact the front desk after checking out, but there is no way to call them. All phone numbers online lead to a call center and they refused to forward your call to the hotel itself.
I filled out a form online for lost items. 2 weeks later I received a notification that they found my hoodie. I had three options through this automated system - have it shipped to me, pick it up, within 30 days of it being found, or have them dispose of it. I live 4 hours away, so I explored the shipping option. The cheapest option was $32!!! I am a business owner and ship packages, including clothing, daily. I know this item can be shipped for $8 using the exact shipping methods they offered.
I tried to contact the hotel again to ask if I can just provide my own shipping label. Again, it's impossible to contact someone physically at the property. I was given the email for that property. They triggered another automated message about my found items but never responded to me or called me as I had requested.
The other option is to pick the item up. It states to pick it up within 30 days of it being found. The information shows that they found it August 27th, but I wasn't notified until September 12th. My deadline to pick it up is September 26th - 14 days from the day I was notified.
Otherwise this was a nice property and I would have been glad to stay there many more times. But this is a scam, a ripoff and a con. I will never stay there again and will be telling my friends and other business owners to avoid it at all...
Read moreWhat caught our eye in the parking lot was the National Lampoon’s Vacation replica station wagon parked outside. That was really cool! The hotel was clean when we entered. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The elevator in the hotel was new, no noise, no shaking, and also kept very clean.
Our room was a standard king room. When we first walked in we noticed how small it was. It was very clean and arranged well, just very small. There was a very tiny fridge, a tv, an ironing board and iron, a phone, and a hairdryer. There wasn’t a coffee pot or a microwave though. I’m a coffee person so it was weird not having my coffee first thing in the morning.
Unfortunately, the furnace/air conditioning unit made a loud noise when it ran and the fridge made a humming sound which made it really difficult to fall asleep. The bed was soft and cozy, but something was off with the bed frame. Each time we went to get out of bed the bed frame felt like it would buckle a little bit.
The worst part was in the morning. My husband went to shower, but there wasn’t any hot water. I called the front desk and they said they would call maintenance. One of the ladies from the front desk came to the room and said she checked the water in the room next to us and it was also cold. She offered to let us use a room on the first floor to shower. My husband took a cold shower already. I didn’t want to dirty a room just to take a shower. I decided I could take one when we arrived home, which was 2 hours later. We thanked her for the offer and...
