We are staying here for a week while we have building work done on our home. I looked at the Reviews, Rates and Size of room's for comfortable hotels in my area of Lakewood and this hotel came out on top. We booked a Queen Suite after coming in person to check out all the Suites here a few days before booking one. We liked the space in the suites, we have a spacious Bedroom with 2 Queen bed's which are firm rather than soft, Chest of Drawers, Nightstand, large LG TV, Desk with chair. Living Room with very large LG TV, Sofa Bed, Coffee Table, and Armchair and Leather Ottoman. Living room and Bedroom can be closed off from each other by sliding wooden doors. We closed ours at night to cut down on any noise outside of suite, but we really didn't have to as its been very quiet here. Kitchenette with Fridge, Microwave, Sink, and Cupboards. Bathroom with shower and toilet, Vanity sink is outside of bathroom. Lots of towels and face-cloths. Staff have been very helpful and pleasant. The hotel has been quiet except the Pool area where kids will be kids. 😯 but that closes at 10pm. There is a Lift here and the hotel is Wheelchair accessible .♿ After reading many Reviews about this place and based on my own experience I would recommend this Hotel to others. If you can book ahead you will find a better deal than just walking in the door. We booked through Expedia and paid $90 per night, walking in its $114. Safe Travels. šŸ˜ŠšŸš™šŸš—šŸš™šŸš So glad we're here tonight!

We spent 2 nights here in early June and found it to be clean, comfortable and quite roomy. Located on Wadsworth near hw285, this hotel has a Denny's, a gas station and great walking paths nearby. The staff was kind & friendly, and were very welcoming to our little dog. Here's a $50 a night fee for pets. This didn't seem too costly, as many hotels do not allow pets at all which is another perk of Comfort Suites! All areas including the breakfast dining space, our room, the swimming pool and small exercise room were immaculately clean and well maintained. Our room included two different TVs, a dorm sized refrigerator, a microwave, coffee pot, two sinks, and a decent size closet. The bathroom is very small but it's sufficient to do what you need to do. The shower was very relaxing and there was plenty of hot water. Another nice thing about our room was that there was a pull-out couch, with a semi-separate sleeping area which is why there were two televisions. If we ever stayed here with the grandkids, we could put them on the pull out sleeper, watching the Disney channel, while we watched something else. Still together in the same room, but enough room to breathe a bit. We highly recommend this hotel and the next time we travel to Denver will most likely stay here as we felt safe, and very comfortable!

I didn't expect to enjoy my stay so much, but I was really impressed by the accomodations, service, and all the extras at Comfort Suites in Lakewood. The staff was very courteous and helpful, answering extra questions I had and providing complementary necessity I forgot at home, all with a smile. Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with clean furniture and everything nicely decorated. I made good use of the mini kitchen and I also appreciate that the vanity was separate from the bathroom. There were an abundant number of towels readily available, and the other linens were soft, clean, and comfortable. I appreciate all of the extra outlets in lamps, and USB charging stations in the work area. And having two TVs was an awesome extra! They did not skimp on the breakfast and everything was hot and tasty , and nothing ran low because there was an employee dedicated to keeping everything clean and full of fresh food. I'm very impressed with the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, and next time I will take advantage of the indoor pool!

Very disappointed. I checked into the hotel on May 21 and stayed until today May 28,2025. I had a major surgery on the 22nd and requested a handicap room since I was not able to be mobile. On the 23rd, I went down for breakfast and when finished my husband and I met our son in the lobby since he was going to be caring for me that day. Immediately we were being harassed by the front desk lady asking how many people are staying in our room? Mind you this is at 9:45am so I would think it’s okay to have visitors. I responded it’s only my husband and I my son is helping since I just had surgery but confirmed it was only us two and left it as that. Come to find out My whole stay was completely chaos. There were multiple people in and out of the hotel doors, running up and down the stairs, I witnessed multiple drug deals, and I called the front desk to report a fight which I recorded from my window!

I was in and out of sleep majority of the time and I was there for one purpose and that was to heal so I minded my own business.

I ended back up in the hospital on May 27 due to an infection and was released early on the 28th. I got back to my room at 2ish this morning, took my medication and went to sleep.

My husband took our son to an appointment this morning that was scheduled at 10 which was down the street and since I was heavy on narcotics he didn’t awake me . At 10:40 I awoke in a panic because he wasn’t back yet and I obviously know checkout is at 11am since I have stayed there previous times prior. At 11:03am I received a phone call from the front desk who was very rude asking if I was checking out or if I was going to extend my stay. I apologized told her I was getting dressed and was going to check out but I needed a late check out because I just had surgery and I can’t move that fast. She rudely said they do not give late check outs that I have 5 min and hung up. Excuse me I can’t move and more importantly I can’t lift anything. I contemplated on going downstairs to grab the cart with wheels but my husband called and said he will be there in 10 min. At 11:14 she called again and stated she did not want to extend my stay and that the police was called and hung up again. About 2 min later there was a knock on my door and as I was walking to open the door the door immediately swung open HITTING/PUSHING ME INTO THE WALL and she told me to leave that the police were called. At this time I snapped back and told her to call them so I can get some assistance to move my items downstairs. I’m so confused on how she is reacting and not realizing my situation even knowing I’m in a handicap room and she has seen me walking hunchback due to my pain.

My husband came to the room at 11:18 and there was already a maid in the room removing the linen. That lady walked by again and I asked her where the police were because I want a police report and she said oh I called them and I requested her name and she said she does not need to give it to me. Ok, hands down me and my husband walk to the front office to wait for the police and I’m explaining to the gentlemen at the front and he is apologizing because he admitted they had a lot of crime activity and thought I WAS APART OF THAT GROUP!!! I asked him so I was being stereotyped and he said no he didn’t know of my situation. I felt I was being stereotyped and discriminated which I brought up to him. He apologized over and over. The ladies name is Bena from what I got? And to top it off she NEVER called the police!!!! Where is the empathy, communication, customer service? At minimum, where is my apology from her? Bena needs to be held accountable for her actions because if she was so easily to treat me the way she did who knows what other horrible things she has done to...

Stay was disappointing to say the least. Hotel was extremely dirty and smelly. Had to buy a deodorizer to mask the horrible room smell. The refrigerator in the room was horrendous. It was either too warm keeping food at dangerously warm temperatures or freezing everything into a solid ice block. Breakfast was extremely limited. Caught manager talking to older couple one morning about how wasteful the guests were at breakfast, so they were glad that COVID had allowed them to start limiting what they provided to guests for breakfast. Choices consisted of instant oatmeal, coffee, juice, powered or chocolate donuts, frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches you could warm in the microwave yourself or Nutrigrain bars. They also policed the distribution of many of these items through the front desk. Pool is a bit small and very noisy, but warm. Hot tub didn’t even look like it met safe plumbing standards. There was one/two jet holes with plumbing fittings, and the rest looked like just holes drilled into the pool surface for compressed air to flow through. The pool was regularly not stocked with towels forcing guests to track water all over the hotel and into the elevator. But the worst part of the whole stay was the serious communication problems with the staff all the way up to the manager. I can provide evidence of where I requested a 3PM late checkout when I booked my 5 night stay. I even confirmed this with the front desk upon check-in. On my checkout day, I put a sticky not on the do not disturb sign indicating that late check out had been cleared with front desk. I needed the extra hours to work in the hotel room as I was hosting a couple of conference calls during these times. Only a few minutes after the regular checkout time on Friday, the hotel MANAGER started calling my room non-stop, interrupting my conference calls to inform me that I was past check out. When I told her to check the note on the account that I had requested a late checkout, she said, oh, no, she couldn’t do a 3PM late check out. I told her that I had clearly communicated this at the time of booking and when I arrived on Sunday night, and had been told the note was on the account. She did not listen at all. Instead, she said I had until noon, less than one more hour to get out or she would charge me an extra day for the late check out I had requested at booking and confirmed upon arrival. Now, please also know that I was injured at the time. After I concluded my first call, I used the remainder of that hour to painfully pack as quickly as I could the rest of the my stuff and haul it to the car before noon. I was up against the time for my next conference call, so I had to host my next call in the hotel breakfast area. It started at noon, and no sooner did I sit down to host that call than the entire house keeping staff took their lunch break and come down to the breakfast room with me to eat and talk for an hour. I’m so glad that I hurriedly packed, re-injured my already hurt back because it was so urgent for me to be out at noon for housekeeping. It was quite clear I absolutely had to be out of my room by noon for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I will not return to this hotel until this hotel staff if properly retrained or replaced….especially the manager who has serous lack of professionalism, communication skills,...
