The parking lot could use some love. Back area (south, closest to HWY285) is pretty trashy looking and I literally have no idea what two of the businesses are back there, almost certain one is closed down and just looks bad (old bank with a drive through?)
A really good/positive note is that "NAMASTE" has some of the best Indian food around.
Actually heck, id go as far as to say that based on the Indian food I've eaten & restaurants I've been to, Namaste is almost certainly the BEST Indian restaurant not only in Lakewood but Colorado and beyond. (warning: even their "mild" spice/sauce option is EXTREMELY HOT!)
Freaky's is ran by great helpful caring knowledgeable staff, if you need anything head shop related, they gotcha.
The bar directly across from Freaky's seems to attract pretty rough & rowdy people with how many times I've seen the cops have to come there. The live music is normally pretty good form what I've heard from parking at Freaky's. (I don't "do" bars anyone, haven't for a while.)
Hobby Town is great.
Vaporgate is a really nice Ecig/Vape store (too nice, don't know why they spent so much money on stuff I don't believe actually gets used. The employees/managers though, I've dealt with some real bad ones there. Try to support a smaller company if you can.
Really can't attest to anything else. All in all it's alright.
o yeah there's an Amazon pickup locker and one for I believe UPS as well (on the road closest &...
Read moreThis corner has an ebb and flow. At any given time, one side of the Street is in ruin while the other is being gentrified. The last known Chinese buffet in Lakewood, once a Furr's, then the Great Wall Buffet (truly great food) has been closed to make way for... Nothing. The new residents of Colorado didn't like it without trying it so it had to shut down. Other than some noteworthy personalities and art works in the Vaporgate store, and a Freaky's somehow holding on... Donuts, toys, guns, science equipment and the rest is easily forgotten. I gave it four stars because it's the only corner in Colorado that you can stand on and almost forget about how terribly Colorado is being disfigured so that folks can take advantage of the marijuana laws some of us worked...
Read moreWe needed a dessert for our family's meal. But since we were The Travelers we didn't have time to bake anything. So we stopped at the Masterpiece Cakeshop! They have grab bags full of day old cookies that are delicious! Better than I could have ever made, that's for sure! The best part is they only cost five bucks! Thanks Masterpiece Cake shop, you guys are the best. We make it a point to stop in and five desert every time we make it to Lakewood Colorado. They are very friendly and willing to help with any kind of cookie order you can imagine! The gingerbread cookies are my very very very...
